It's another mash-up (sound the siren)! This time, it's a full album putting Jay-Z against Radiohead from New York's Minty Fresh Beats . Yeah, I know everybody's doing mash-ups right now. Does that mean I can't appreciate some good work when I hear it? You can hear the whole thing/download it for free at the official Jaydiohead website . Check out a couple cuts below. Jaydiohead – "99 Anthems" (MP3) Jaydiohead – "Dirt Off Your Andriod" (MP3)

I bloody love mash ups. I think there's a certain amount of artistry in finding that perfect combination of two songs that shouldn't work together. From Shaggy and the Beatles to Motorhead and Gorillaz, I'll always appreciate a good combination. Now, if you don't know, I adore Radiohead. They're my favourite band, and I love everything they've ever done. Hell, the sound of Jonny Greenwood licking his guitar whilst Thom wails in a corner would be received well by me. So today I found out there's an ENTIRE ALBUM of Radiohead mash ups with Jay Z. I think [...]

Well I don't know if this is as good as the Grey Album , but it is a pretty cool piece of work. A free album mash up of JAY-Z and RADIOHEAD . Click HERE to get it.

If you have been going to any music news sites you have probably heard the name Jaydiohead around as of late.Well it is the mash up project of Minty Fresh Beats a DJ from NYC who decided to mash up tracks from Jay-Z and Radiohead. The project has been getting an overall positive response from most people. Publications like pitchfork, and stereogum don't like it but who would have expected them to?? The mashup does work well for most of the album. A few times Radiohead's music really complimented Jay-Z's raps, sometimes it was scary. [...]
:: First The Grey Album , then Jay-Zeezer , now we have Jaydiohead . :: Ron Asheton , guitarist for The Stooges was found dead in his Ann Arbor, MI home. :: Death Cab For Cutie's Chris Walla wants to conquer the radio . Maybe he's just needs to conquer something since Ben Gibbard's recent engagement to the indie darling, Zooey Daschenel put him ahead in hip points. :: Really? The Oasis brothers are now fighting [...]

First it was Jay-Z and The Beatles . And only a few months ago, Coldplay released a more flavorful Jay-Z version of 'Lost,' which in turn inspired Viva La Hova , the Jay-Z /Coldplay mash-ups. Now, DJ Minty Fresh has added yet another mash to the Jay-Z/(insert rock band here) repertoire. Jaydiohead, as the name suggests, [...]

There's two perspectives on the Hip Hop/Rock blend mixtapes; 1) They're awesome and more need to be produced 2) They're played out. While I personally believe both are true, how I do not know, I do know if I see one more Jay Z blend tape I may shoot myself. But not if they're as interesting as this one I found today.A DJ out of NYC who calls himself Minty Fresh Beats has produced a mixtape where he blends Jay Z and Radiohead. While not as great as Cookin' Soul's OJAYZIS or as [...]

I'm going to venture a guess that Jay's Black Album is going to be mashed-up or remixed until those Left Behind movies come true. Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you Jaydiohead produced by DJ Minty Fresh Beats. And, as you may be able to infer from the title Jay is mashed up with Radiohead. Yep, Mr. DJ Minty Fresh Beats used the acapella vocals from Mr. Hova and mostly instrumental tracks from OK Computer , Kid A and [...]

Jaydiohead is the latest creation from Minty Fresh Beats. It's an entire album of songs from Jay's Black Album and American Gangster combined with various Radiohead songs from albums such as OK Computer, Kid A , and In Rainbows . Here are a few of the songs. It's pretty good, but I wouldn't be surprised if die-hard fans of either artists dislike it. Once you get past the initial "WTF!HUH?" it might grow on you though. So the inbox included an email from Minty Fresh Beats. It included a link to Jaydiohead a free 10 track album of Jay Z and Radiohead mashes. Don't know how long it will be up there but here's the link. Jaydiohead - No Karma

You know how I feel about mash ups. I was pretty excited when I saw that Minty Fresh Beats had cooked up this album featuring Jay-Z mashed with Radiohead. Like most mash up albums, there are a few tracks that don't work, but there are also some wild moments on here. Who doesn't like a song with the title "Dirt Off Your Android"? Check out some highlights below. Jaydiohead - Dirt Off Your Android Jaydiohead - No Karma Jaydiohead - Wrong Prayer [...]

So we all knew the two artists that set the remix and blend worlds going nuts the last couple of years...some one would go out and remix the two....This was a natural mix.....like it came out of my own brain....well anyway this tape is freaking amazing...I'm listening to it as I post this as usual when I post Mixtapes......The 10 track Mix was created by Minty Fresh Beats ...trust me....download this one... Mashups as a whole annoy the hell out of me. But I'm somewhat impressed/intrigued by Minty Fresh Beats effort to combine Radiohead instrumentals with Jay Z rhymes. For those Radiohead fans out there, don't worry, it's not just obvious samples - Minty Fresh gives some love to Gagging Order, a Kid A b-side. Download the Jaydiohead project. Just another Radiohead-Remix? [...]
