A couple Yardbirds of a feather will return to the nest this February when Eric Clapton and Jeff Beck, two of the greatest guitarists to ever pick up the instrument, will headline a pair of shows at the Super Arena in Saitama, Japan. Former Smiths front man and the almost 50 year old Britih dreamboat (oh yes, still very much so) Morrissey , who has undoubtedly made a name for himself worldwide with his lengthy solo career, will release Years of Refusal in the United States on February 17, 2009 on Attack/Lost Highway . Years of Refusal is the Moz's first studio album since 2006's UK #1 Ringleader of the Tormentors . The Dave Matthews Band continues to do well when included in Cover Wars as they have walked away the winner of last week's edition when we looked at covers of Burning Down The House . DMB also announced their initial tour dates for 2009 yesterday to promote a new studio release. MUSIC NEWS - Rock guitarist (and Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Nominee) Jeff Beck has come out against Led Zeppelin's reunion plans by insisting that it will be pointless without lead singer Robert Plant. The 64-year-old rock legend, who played in The Yardbirds with Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page, praised the band's huge reunion concert at London's O2 Arena last December, 2007.
