Words by Jamie Hallaman Hello! This is a proposed new feature on GFP which encourages our writers to dig a little deeper into the catalogue of a record label and offer up ten songs as a celebration/introduction for the GFP readership massive. There’s no particular set rules to the feature, selections can be a “Best Of,” an “Introduction To” or they can be themed in some other fancy way. Given that our beloved editor Tom Johnson has recently started his own label, Night Talk Records , which has just seen its [...]

If you guys are looking for something that lets you break it down midweek, here's your fix. I get so excited about tracks like this because they play into this newness that I associate such positive feelings with, musically. You know what I mean? The kind of new that says, "Hey now. Modern day music is actually great!" Yeah, there is a lot to be thankful for that happened in our musical past, and we can relish in those minute details of chord progression, or drum technique, or even british vocals that make your inners swoon. But there [...]

Each time I listen to this one, I turn it up. Jeremiah Jae not only masters sampling but allows you to escape, even down to the last few dwindling seconds as he rhymes to the old school inspired beat. Jae was swept under the wing of Flying Lotus and his since released a multitude of mixtapes, many of which Lotus said ironically inspired him. Jae's latest is Lunch Special Part 4, which is said to be, "a collection of new, old, rare, and completely raw joints." Below: "Wake Me." Jeremiah [...]
Teebs & Jeremiah Jae did an impromto mini concert the other night, it was really nice. This isn't really a gig review, but they asked for the photos and I thought this would be a good place to share them. Enjoy!

We like God Don't Like It . They provide us with a glorious plateau of music in the form of their live shows, podcasts and just general positive input into the music community. So when they announced that they were to take August off in respect to shows, we were hurt; but hell, we can't stay made at them for long, especially when details of their first show after this mini-hiatus was announced. For GDLI (not Global Dream Land Investment Limited for those with hugely below-par Google-skills) on September 6th at Corsica Studios will play host [...]
![New: Jeremiah Jae – Lunch Special Pt. 4 [Mixtape]](http://cdn.elbo.ws/posts/3648023_lg.jpg)
LA based label Brainfeeder has been pumping out some real gems recently, new releases from both Samiyam and MARTYN are just two of the label’s artists receiving justified attention for their new records. Their latest release comes from oddball/surrealist MC, Jeremiah Jae . The new Mixtape, Lunch Special Pt. 4 , gels together warm avant-garde beats with mind-bending word play and a dark sense of humour, to form something as baffling as it is groove filled. Throw in the fact that Natural Cure, [...]

Brainfeeder recently updated their site with two must cop mixtapes; Jeremiah Jae's , Lunch Special 4 , and Thundercat's , Shenanigans Pt.1 , which was put together buy the all mighty Flying Lotus . Jeremiah Jae's new mixtape contains a collection of psychedelic avant-garde rap and rare edits of some of Jae's experimental explorations featuring production from Flying Lotus, Natural Cure, Projeck, and some special guests. Really space out galactic art rap=poppin' going on on each of these tracks. Dont pass up, download it. [...]

A new mixtape, Lunch Special 4 , from one of Brainfeeder's top experimentalists, Jeremiah Jae. Be on the lookout for some heady wordplay and gritty, grimy, lo-fi beats backed with tons of samples. Find a download link right here , and check the cover below:
L.A. electronic label Brainfeeder continues to serve up healthy portions of mind-stretching music. This time it's in the form of rapper Jeremiah Jae and his Lunch Special Pt. 4 mixtape. Jae's word-associations and linguistic leaps will leave you scratching your head while the beats from Fly-Lo and Raga will keep your head nodding. Some of the beats are avant-garde out there, but still effective; a credit to both Brainfeeder's genre-bending sensibilities and the label's implicit trust in its intelligent listeners. Hit the skip to download the mixtape. Download: [...]

Jeremiah Jae - Art History Jeremiah Jae - Grand Ball Jeremiah Jae's new mixtape of unreleased joints in succession to his Rappayamatantra EP released on Brainfeeder earlier this year (peep the video for $easons if you missed it, it's all kinds of ill). This is a new mixtape by Jeremiah Jae entitled Lunch Special Pt 4. A collection of new, old, rare, and completely raw joints for your mental palate. Play this in your cars, or set up [...]
The Brainfeeder collective continues to make sizeable impacts on our listening habits. Last week, it came via Thundercat's Shenanigans Pt. 1 mix, which was presented and blended by Brainfeeder leader Flying Lotus. And this week, we're stuck on rapper-producer Jeremiah Jae's super-trippy new mixtape, Lunch Special Pt. 4 . Amidst spaced-out beats from Flying Lotus and Raga, Jae spits stream-of-conscious bars to tell introspective stories ("Art History") and talk acid-laced shit ("Live And Direct"). In other words, it's ill and you "better stop sleeping on the god 'cause when you wake [...]

So in case you haven't noticed the world of EDM has been swept by a massive wave of Moombahton lately thanks to DC legend and Vacay approved artist Dave Nada. The production style has been adopted by artists across all genres however; as with every new genre, a new type of artist is developing. One of these new Moombahton artists is a collaborative effort between DJ SAV and Mr Vega out of New York City. They dropped their debut 7 track EP, La Bomba, last week and were nice enough to give us a couple exclusive vitamins for your auditory [...]
Jeremiah Nelson and I had a pretty funny first interaction (actually really funny) , but anyhow- he sent over a new video for his track "Nothing to Lose" set to vintage home video-type footage giving it a nostalgic quality, much like the music itself. His music is beautifully atmospheric, like shedding the weight of his defunct band "The Achilles Heel" with a certain lightness, an ability to be more experimental sound with "Drugs to Make You Sober". Check out more of Jeremiah's stuff on his bandcamp .

Yeah, I like the Moombahton. Not gunna lie. Here are a few tracks I rounded up from the ol' inbox for you guys! Adele - Rolling in the Deep (Blac Waldo Moombahton Remix) Audio MP3 Audio MP3 The Beatards - Tramp (Clockwork Mombahton Remix) Audio MP3 Audio MP3 [...]

The other day I picked up (after waiting much too long) the Mostly Midwest Sampler Mixtape #1 ( find it here with a 'pay what you want option' ). They were doing a push to raise funds for all things Midwest and it simply prompted me to get off my ass and actually "donate" with a purchase. I had been aware of it for a while and also aware of Jeremiah Nelson as well, but I found another little gem of a track from the mixtape in a 2008 recording from Nelson, "Favorite Chair". The song originally was part of [...]

Today I present you with Sazon Booya 's debut EP "La Bomba". Based in NYC, the duo (Mr. Vega & DJ SAV) teamed up a few months ago to blow up dancefloors with their crazy moombahton and with the release of "La Bomba", that's exactly what's going to happen. The EP features some well known names such as reggaeton producer El Chombo, reggaeton rapper Principal, producer Willie Bones and singer/songwriter Amy Douglas. It's also getting mad support from Dave Nada, Heartbreak, Cam Jus, Munchi, DJ Sabo, Boyfriend, Groovematic, Fellow, 2 Deep and many more. Listen to the EP in the [...]

We are happy to announce that God Don't Like It is going to be hosting two of L.A's finest electronic artists Teebs & Jeremiah Jae on the 6th of September at XOYO in London. Teebs is one of those guys who just seems good at everything. A successful artist & professional skateboarder he moved into doing music full time after a leg injury meant he couldn't skate for a year. The results were an amazing album released on Flying Lotus's Brainfeeder [...]
