Little Jinder - Youth Blood Buy The Release: troubleandbass.com The Trouble & Bass team pull together for an eyebrow scorching blast of West-Coast rave styles from Drop The Lime, AC Slater, Acid Jacks, Mikix The Cat, Starkey and their mates. Drop The Lime continues his fixation with UK rave styles on 'We Are The Future' sounding like a breaks meets niche Bassline cut that escaped from a dodgy free party in 2004, AC Slater jumps on a dubstep rave thing like Yokozuna on a plate of cakes with 'Calm Down' while Mikix The Cat's 'Handz [...]

Just ran into this on my iPod and realized I never posted this track to audiodrums! Well, guess I can check that off my list. Fun summer house vibe with Swedish flair by Jinder ! Jinder - Youth Blood
Flinch just released a four track EP titled ' Light It Up ' on 12th Planet 's label SMOG. To be 100% honest with you, its really really, really good. No sugarcoating whatsoever. In the past, Flinch's productions have been more on the experimental side, but in this EP it sounds like he has really dialed down his favorite sounds. The sounds he uses are among the nastiest variety, but the composition along with the beautifully tuned vocals give the tracks a more melodic groove. The result is half banger, half boner jam. I [...]

Little Jinder is a young woman from Stockholm that began honing her voice and New Order-y sound at the Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts. I can't imagine she really needed the degree - her voice is mesmerizing, and whether it comes at you hard and fast or soft and slow, you're sure to step back for a second and admire its youthful beauty. It should come as no surprise that her work was quickly picked up for remixes by big and small names alike. One of these happens to be my favorite 12th Planet production - a remix of 'Youth Blood' [...]

I had never heard of Little Jinder before. It was with the help of Seba she popped up on the MFM radar. Hearing Seba's drum and bass remix of her single 'Without You' I was curious to hear the original. I wasn't disappointed, it has dubstep feel to it, and her vocals do a good job. But I think the only thing holding it up is the chorus, everything inbetween is a bit harder to like in my eyes; decide for yourself. You can buy the single on Beatport now. Also if you haven't [...]

Flinch's music, instead of by genre, is connected b a consistent theme of "Hot n' Heavy" Bass music. As described by his Label Trouble and Bass: Flinch’s trademark is hot ‘n’ heavy bass music. Whether he’s drawing from dubstep, house, indie rock, or jungle, his tracks are always melodic, hard-hitting, and full of the sickest bass, money can’t buy. I'm always impressed with Flinch's versatility. He can remix a house track, a dubstep track, hell - even an indie track. Some of this jams are high energy, some are mellow, [...]

Hey, Ben here. EPR , short for Electro Pop Rocks, was quite the night. You can check out the absolutely ridiculous photos on b33sf blog . Overall, I'd give the show and night a big thumbs up. Club 525 was super nice; featuring two bars (one dry) an upstairs and a second room. There leaking from room to room of noise was remarkably low seeing the mind crushing level they were playing the music at. One of my first questions was if the sound system was PK. If you know me, you're already aware that I'm a snob for sound quality and [...]

SoundLogik will be attending Coachella Music Festival this upcoming April and we’re extremely stoked, to say the least. Since a one post preview of the entire weekend and all of our favorite artists would be far too lengthy, we decided to start our “Coachella Daze” series which will feature Coachella artists/songs every Friday, Saturday and Sunday on their respective show day leading up to the event. Fellow Logikians, it’s time to get dazed. This edition of Fridaze is filled with large amounts [...]
![Poll Results: Best Dubstep Mix of 2010 [Excision, TROWA, 12th Planet & Nero]](http://cdn.elbo.ws/posts/3087254_lg.jpg)
Now I'm gonna be straight up here: you guys had absolutely no say in nominations. I just needed to stick a poll up on the site, and so just chose my faves. But anyway, here's the results, and by definition, a list of popular dubstep mixes from the year 2010. It's interesting to note that all the nominations are free to download! Is it because I listen to more free mixes because I'm a cheap ass? Is it because free mixes are inherently better? I'd be interested to hear your opinion on this in the comments (and of course any [...]

photo credit: Caesar Sebastian If you have grown up in/around Los Angeles then you have heard about the Electric Daisy Carnival; the kick off to summer for hundreds of thousands of fashion-challenged ravers and 16 year olds from the Inland Empire. This year I gathered up the courage and got the chance to see what all the fuss and mayhem was about for myself. Thank Heavens for Hannah Lewis and A-Trak's amazing manager for hooking up free tickets or else, let's face it, I would never willingly pay to take part in this pagan ritual. Every [...]
