It's that time again: another MF Doom collaboration has announced itself and it's not Ghostface Killah, Thom Yorke, Nas or MF Grimm. This time round MF Doom (or simply Doom as he prefers now) has teamed up with Jneiro Jarel for his latest project: JJ DOOM. You may remember Jneiro Jarel from his remix of 20102s 'Gazillion Ear' (along with Thom Yorke), well now the duo are said to be working on an album together, to be titled 'Keys To The Kuffs'. The new LP will be released by [...]

Last year, my favorite metal-faced MC, DOOM, was set to release a collaborative album with the one and only Ghostface Killah. Sadly, it didn't pan out. Now, DOOM is teasing us with a new track from a different project. It's being titled JJ DOOM, which is due to the inclusion of music producer Jneiro Jarel. Jarel is no stranger to collaboration, having taken on projects involving TV On the Radio, Damon Albarn, and even Massive Attack. On this first track to drop from the project, "BANISHED," Jneiro certainly did a great job of tailoring [...]
The masked menace known as DOOM has teamed up with rapper Jneiro Jarel for a project known as as JJ DOOM and another track has hit the net via Pitchfork and it's titled "Banished" and follows up a track that hit "Rhymin' Slang", which Dave Sitek actually ended up remixing. So there's that. The pair have now come together to put out an LP later in the year titled Key to the Kuffs. Although their aren't many deets regarding the album it's due out in May on Lex Records. Give "Banished" a spin below.
DOOM is at the collaboration cookie jar again. This time, it's Jneiro Jarel (Shape Of Broad Minds, Dr. Who Dat?) on an entire album Key to the Kuffs as JJ Doom out in May on Lex Records . 'Banished' above is the first edifying cut from the album and it suggests the album will be a doozy. The pair are lined up for the Boiler Room next week. Fuck. Yeah. A Dave Sitek of another track features on Lex's 10th Anniversary compilation Complex :

Fresh from the depths of your imagination comes JJ Doom, a collabo from DOOM and Jneiro Jarel. The two musical masterminds are teaming up for an album called Key To The Kuffs . DOOM comes at it with a change-up flow, but you can never really put your finger on the masked MC, so it shouldn't be to surprising. Listening to "Banished" is like a little taster spoon—expect more soon, in the form of the album Key To The Cuffs , coming out on Lex Records . Check out "Banished" below: [...]

Well well well. Jneiro Jarel & MF DOOM are collaborating to bring us an album entitled Key to the Kuffs under the guise of JJ DOOM. Look for project that in May via Lex Records . Kind of a different, more aggresive flow from DOOM than we're used to hearing. What do you think of the track? via HT
, which is due out in May via Lex Records, although an exact date has not been announced. Over at the <a href= ...
Masked rapper/world conqueror DOOM first collaborated with genre-bending producer/rapper Jneiro Jarel as JJ DOOM on the track "Rhymin' Slang", which Dave Sitek later remixed for Lex Records' 10th anniversary compilation . The duo have joined forces yet again to record a joint album entitled Key to the Kuffs , due out this May via Lex Records. The first track to surface from the detail-less LP, "Banished", is a hodge-podge of noises and intents, equal parts electro banger and rumbling synth jam. No matter where it lies musically, DOOM once more unleashes his lyrical barrage, citing [...]

A little while back, TVOTR's Dave Sitek remixed a collaboration between producer Jneiro Jarel (of the underrated Willie Isz with Khujo Goodie) and oddball rapper DOOM called " Rhymin' Slang ," a song which made Lex Records' 10th anniversary compilation. Now, Jarel and DOOM have announced a full collaborative album under the name JJ DOOM, and its first single, "Banished" is streaming below. Read More...

While we are left to indefinitely wait for DOOM's collaboration with Ghostface to reap a full length album, or even a follow up to his follow up to his collaboration with Madlib, at least we now know we'll be getting some new DOOM material this year. The infamous rapper has teamed up with Jneiro Jarel to create a new duo called JJ DOOM (as is DOOM's penchant for combining names in his collaborations). The album is called Key to the Kuffs and will drop some time in May on Lex Records. You can hear [...]

Sorry to keep this one brief, y'all, but I'm just about to head out. That being said, I wasn't about to not hip you to this new version of " Rhymin' Slang " by JJ DOOM ( Jneiro Jarel & MF DOOM) and Dave Sitek, of TV on the Radio. They have now linked with one of our favorite British MCs, DELS , to create "Cockney Rhyme and Slang". Awesome title. Ill song. Bass for days. Enjoy. Hit the skip to stream and download the track. It's off Sitek's upcoming mixtape(!!).

This year marked the 10th anniversary for indie hip-hop/electro label Lex Records. In honor of the milestone, the label has readied the release of a compilation entitled Complex , which features a massive collaboration between underground hip-hop legend DOOM and Radiohead's Thom Yorke and Jonny Greenwood entitled "Retarded Fren" . Despite the track's audiogasm-inducing capabilities, Doom also took part in another collabo with producer/ DRC Music contributor Jneiro Jarel, who recorded "Rhymin' Slang" together as JJ DOOM. Upping the musical ante of said effort, TV on the Radio's Dave Sitek has remixed the number into something slightly more [...]

The latest addition to the anniversary compilation is a remix of a brand new DOOM track titled "Rhymin' Slang." The remix was done by none other than Dave Sitek , of Maximum Balloon and TV on the Radio fame, and was originally produced by Jneiro Jarel. You can listen to [...]
