Taken from the "We Can't Fly" remixes package, here's two monster songs from Aeroplane's latest release. They were done by French producer Joakim and (well, French) house duo Cassius. "We Can't Fly (The Remixes)" will be released April 23 via Eskimo Recordings. Listen to the whole thing here .
Joakim 's " Teenage Kiss " off of Kitsune's 2004 compilation X was one of the first songs I ever played on Vamos a La Playa , I've been a fan for a bit. Dude's released a shit ton of new material since then that sounds nothing like that track but is still as awesome (if not more awesome). "Forever Young" and "Find A Way" were great singles and his last full LP Nothing Gold is also noteworthy. His latest EP "Labyrinth" includes remixes from the likes of Todd Terje and Le Loup, good stuff. [...]

It's taken from the "We Can't Fly - The Remixes", which drops on vinyl and digitally on April 23th through Eskimo Recordings. The release also features another previously unreleased remix of "We Can't Fly" by none other than Cassius. Todd Terje on the throne! Here's his striking remix for Joakim. "Nothing Gold" is the title song off his latest album released last year. Nothing Gold remixes EP is out since April 9 with another remix from Le Loup, 12inch mixes and instrumental versions. More tracks from the EP can be streamed on SoundCloud . Here's to your first day going back to normality/work after a 4 day bank holiday marathon not sucking too much! If it did suck a lot then at least there's some brand new Todd Terje in the air in the form of a summery hazy disco remix of Joakim's Nothing Gold. Rolling in at a lush 9 minutes this is just what the goodtimes hangover doctor ordered!
