Yesterday, folk goddess Joanna Newsom released a brand new cover of Sandy Denny's "The North Star Grassman and the Ravens" for LA-based fashion line Wren . It's the first studio track we've heard from her in three years, so obviously we're falling all over ourselves. Both the song and video place her in an elemental environment, allowing Newsom to embellish the track with her trademark ambrosial sound.
