From Beck to Bunyan and Bonamassa this is a winning tribute to the late John Martyn. John Martyn passed away in early 2009 at the age of 60 and although his passing was well noted and his life was widely celebrated in his native England, the American press and music community were noticeably more reserved. This track emerged a couple of years ago from a, then unknown, London band called Johnny Boy . Rumors abounded about the producer (The Manic Street Preachers' James Dean Bradfield) and how such an incredible song had gone unnoticed for such a long time. Rumors abounded about the producer (The Manic Street Preachers' James Dean Bradfield) and how such an incredible song had gone unnoticed for such a long time.
