Artist: Jonwayne + Jonti

Hell yeah: two of my favorite new(ish) artists, Jonti and Jonwayne , are apparently collaborating in the studio these days. And the first track to find its way online from their recent sessions is "Uh Oh", a joint that's a sign that these guys have something really special in the works. Couple légendaire de la musique portoricaine, Rafael Cortijo et Ismael Rivera se rencontrent en 1948 alors qu'ils ont à peine vingt ans. Ils jouent pour la première fois ensemble dans le Conjunto Monterrey, "Maelo" au congas et Cortijo au bongo. Ils deviennent très vite amis et aiment à se retrouver pour jouer ensemble, tandis qu'ils se produisent professionnellement pour diverses formations.
