When I reviewed Lulu at the beginning of this month, I had to admit the album's odd allure despite some glaring flaws. Some fans are staying loyal and loving the aforementioned album, I however am not one of those people. Lou Reed and Metallica played Later... with Jools Holland today in support of their recent collaborative album Lulu . They played Lulu track "Iced Honey" and, more surprisingly, The Velvet Underground's "White Light/White Heat." And, honestly, who really cares if they make an album together that no one really likes, but now they are trashing classic Velvet's songs.
