I have been OBSESSED with this song since release, and if you haven't been aware, then I'm very much sorry for your missing out on it. Sometimes I wish I could have experienced living in the Wild West. Sure, I know it wouldn't be nearly as romanticized as hollywood has us believe, but who cares. Junip It was interesting to see the amount of people that arrived at The Independent that night to see Junip , featuring Tobias Winterkorn (keyboards), Elias Araya (drums) and José González (vocals & guitar). My experience with solo artist side projects are a bit disappointing as most fans are looking for that artist's original solo material and not the 'band stuff'. This debut album by the Jose Gonzalez-led Junip has been in the pipeline for about five years now, but it's finally here. Actually, it's probably been in the pipeline for longer than that, the band having formed 10 years ago, but we've been waiting at least five years for it since that's when they released their debut EP "Black Refuge".
