You might be asking yourselves why this track is being posted again, but ask no more questions because you shall see my friends. We have had the pleasure of finding this rare rework of Man On Fire , by Chris Carter in an email yesterday. For those of you who don't know who Chris Carter is, he is quite the talent, spreading his gifts all over the Los Angeles community as a disc jockey as well as a film/music producer. You may now him with his music partner Simon Lewicki as Jump Jump Dance [...]

How was 2011 for you? Simon Lewicki: It was a great year! We played lots of shows, did lots of remixes, and people in the U.S. are getting to know us. (We're quite a big deal in Australia, though.) [ Laughs ] Chris Carter: Amazing to get our album out in Australia and soon to be U.S. as well! Disappointed I wasn't abducted by extra-terrestrials, though. Highlights? Simon: Having our self-titled studio album finally come out in Australia was great, and having some songs in movies was pretty [...]

Laidback Luke has taken Jump Jump Dance Dance's groovy disco anthem along with Chris Carter's silky vocals and transformed it into a stadium monster. ![Brandon’s TBE Digest 26 [8.10.2011] New Jams, Remixes, & Covers!](http://cdn.elbo.ws/posts/3639614_lg.jpg)
Brandon's TBE Digest is a place where I gather up all the recent jams that are worth a listen (or 10) but don't necessarily need their own post. Here you will find new tracks by known bands, remixes, covers, and even mashups if they are interesting. My favorites of the lot are in bold . See that nifty little intro in italics up there? Yeah, it was brought to my attention that these Digests didn't come with much in the way of explanation and even dedicated TBE readers may not really understand what the heck [...]

![[PLAYLIST] The Best REMIXES of 2011 – Part 1 (Jan-June)](http://cdn.elbo.ws/posts/3589417_lg.jpg)
Strap on your shufflin' shoes and make sure to stretch 'cause this list is an unmerciful messenger delivering jams of the highest quality. Some of these remixes have been banned by certain unenlightened govern ments for igniting dance parties and group high-fives so share with care. This edition is chock full of TBE Remix alums and a few newbies shaking things up. Everyone's favorite, Passion Pit, nab two spots while newbie Star Slinger clinches two more. In a massive non-surprise, RAC takes a heavy slice of this pie with a full 5 slots. Hey, it's not my fault the guy is a genius. Stay [...]

Australian synthpop rising stars Tim & Jean may only be 17 and 20 respectively but they sure seem to be on the right track for international stardom. Hailing from Perth, the pair met over three ago and started recording demo tapes in Capotorto's bedroom studio in Mandurah. After posting their music on MySpace the band entered Australian radio Triple J's Unearthed High competition for unsigned bands in late 2009 and they managed to make the finals with their super catchy pop song "Come Around" . Heavy on synths but totally light-hearted, the [...]

Mashup Monday – We’re going to melt you faces off with enough mashed up music to make you wanna slap yo’ mama. itstk will be bringing you the dopest dope in the mashup world. We’ve been scouring the music lands, and filing through tracks that you enthusiastic readers and musicians have sent us. We’ve found mashups from DJ’s far and wide. We’ve found down-tempo ones. We’ve found super fast and beaty ones. Short ones and long ones. Ones that you wanna sit back and enjoy, and ones that will make you want to rage all over a dance [...]
March is here and it could not have come at a better time. Not that I didn't expect March to come when it usually does, I just believe I am more excited about this March than I have been for any other March. It looks like Orlando (my current location) is finally starting to get a lot of the good acts that Miami has been seeing for a while now. With Ultra in less than two weeks, a lot of DJ's are coming through Orlando on their way to Vice City. The number and caliber of DJ's coming [...]

the inner-net has been in motion with jump jump dance dances new single '2.02 and the more recent fare soldi remix we premiered a week or two ago. an intense follow up is the laidback luke collaboration turning the 'Original to Stadium Size in six-and-a-half minutes flat!' with big dancehall thud-bass vibes and utilizing chris carters liquorish smooth vocals. jump jump dance dance & laidback luke - 2.0 192 jump jump dance dance & laidback luke - 2.0 (radio [...]

What's up everyone? I'm off to Berlin tomorrow, and needless to say I'm pretty pumped. Since I won't have my computer with me for the next few days I decided to make a bit of a mega-post today to make up for my inevitable slacking this weekend. Think of this as a combination Mixtape Friday/Song & Video of the Day all rolled into one. Hope you all enjoy. First up we have a new video from Atmosphere called "Just For Show." This one is in anticipation of his new album The Family Sign , which comes out [...]
![Remix Roundup Vol. 39 – 3.4.2011 [MIDNIGHT JUGGERNAUTS, MICHAEL JACKSON, BEE GEES, SURFER BLOOD and more...]](http://cdn.elbo.ws/posts/3255903_lg.jpg)
Yo, so we just made a cross country road trip back down here to the ATX. Looks like we are going to be Austinites (?) for the foreseeable future... SXSW, be funking ready. On the way down, among other super awesome subjects covered and generally getting Nurdy as hell, we decided that due to a massive backlog of jamz we're putting together a Remix Roundup of EPIC proportions (f*ck that was wordy). Not just in numbers folks, we're talking about game-changing, blasting in your ears drums music here. Frankly, if you aren't happy with this dazzling little fun-basket of [...]

Fare Soldi have made a nice remix of Jump Jump Dance Dance 's new single "2.0". It's their usual energetic and percussive disco which we all love, and I especially like the hair metal feeling of the break/bridge just after the minute mark. I'm sure Fiero would have added some howling electric guitars there... Jump Jump Dance Dance - 2.0 (Fare Soldi Zompa Zompa Remix)
