Every Sunday, electblake of Earmilk will bring you the weeks dirty servings, and some old favorites through a throwdown-throwback to simpler times. A time when bangers were big, remixes were bigger, the bassline bled, and we didn't care about anything as long as came in kicking and left screaming. To hell with sketchy Sunday, we want to shove another dragon down the hole. Where the hell have I been? It may be pure ego but I like to think I'm a pretty [...]

ReMixes of slightly old songs don't always grab you but this mix of Two Door Cinema Club 's 'Something Good Can Work' by Icelandic Nu-Disco crew Jungle Fiction made me sit up and take notice. Big, big, synths and a whole lot of groove dominate this mix. Building on the sound of their début EP the trio of young producers keep on expertly riding the line between pedal-to-the-metal Electro-House and smooth melodic Dreamwave with the kind of skill that easily ranks them up there with the Dangers and Kavinsky's of the world. [...]

I'm sitting pretty heavy on some final papers right now, so here's a track from the vault. It's a house influenced electronica remix by up-and-comers Jungle Fiction . It has a cool soundtrack feel reminiscent of some Tron material. Shout out to my English teacher for this headache. Cassette Culture- We Once Had an Empire (Jungle Fiction Remix) SPREAD THE LOVE. Entrepreneurs hails from Yateley. All the time in the world to kill led Entrepreneurs down a path marked punk rock R'n'B. Think Flying Lotus, J Dilla laced with Captain Beefheart/Frank Zappa... **Summary** Go to website for downloads, videos & more.

Our favourite Icelandic export Jungle Fiction are unstoppable! I'm still on the fence about Entrepreneurs , I can take them or leave them at the moment, but this reMix of their 'Bubblegunk' is pure Dreamwave dope! Jungle Fiction take the original, strip out some of the contrived garageness of the original, keep the vocals and mash it into the kind of tune that is playing at the prom in any 80s's teen movie, but with added balls. I love the way they ripped the guitar solo from the original turned it into 80's epicness. This [...]

if i live forever, i'll kill time with the devils inside of my head ♫ Entrepreneurs - Bubblegunk (Jungle Fiction Remix) [Exclusive!] Entrepreneurs are no stranger to TBE love and Jungle Fiction made waves in last weeks Remix Roundup, so I am honored to present a Burning Ear exclusive of their latest jam sandwich! The original (below) is a full on steam train of spastic energy and Jungle Fiction have reigned that back a bit for a more universally accessible hip-s hake inducer. I love how the guitar solos get tweaked out [...]

Yo, so we just made a cross country road trip back down here to the ATX. Looks like we are going to be Austinites (?) for the foreseeable future... SXSW, be funking ready. On the way down, among other super awesome subjects covered and generally getting Nurdy as hell, we decided that due to a massive backlog of jamz we're putting together a Remix Roundup of EPIC proportions (f*ck that was wordy). Not just in numbers folks, we're talking about game-changing, blasting in your ears drums music here. Frankly, if you aren't happy with this dazzling little fun-basket of [...]

Well, the exam I was studying so hard for completely ignoring the blog and music, waste of time. Probably would've done the same without studying; overall poorly. Anyways, excuse my late Friday post, some tracks I found interesting from this week. Some tracks I came across while surfing Hype and some music blogs, totally reposts. First is the Why Are We Whispering remix of Martin Solveig featuring Dragonette and I guess Ish Hello . Great remix of a great track, I've always liked Dragonette and I've shamefully forgotten about Martin [...]

Click image to download full album Song: Casette Culture - We Once Had An Empire (Jungle Fiction Remix) "Casette Culture - We Once Had An Empire (Jungle Fiction Remix)" What's so good? Jungle Fiction has created a fantastic head-banging track out of Cassette Culture's "We Once Had an Empire," a remix that instantly caught my attention as worthy of a chance to spotlight in Song of the Day. While information on the original artist is actually hard [...]

Okay, okay, I know I'm a bit late on this one. I don't like to rip post from other blogs, even if the tracks are awesome, but seeing this has been posted on four of my favorite blogs (Vacay Vitamins, Ear Milk, The Music Ninja, and DÖDSELECTRO), I think it's time. Cassette Culture aren't big on the scene. I'm not sure if they even are on the scene at all. Hearing new quality elctro music a lways excites me, but there is nothing out there about Cassette Culture. Their Myspace has a couple songs streamable via Mixcloud. To give you an idea of how MIA [...]

I had a slight scare this past week when I thought I had lost my hard drive with all of my pictures and videos. I have been collecting videos and pictures for the past four years of all of the shows that I have been to so it's safe to say that I was slightly terrified. I decided to use a pretty interesting one that I took at Fall Massive this past Thanksgiving. We plan to start utilizing these very soon so make sure to keep your eyes peeled. Now that I got that out of the way, [...]

Awesome Icelandic Nu-Disco gang Jungle Fiction are back with this epic reMix of Cassette Culture 's ' Once We Had An Empire'. Cassette Culture is the solo project of Tom Lowe from Indie band Kyte and here the Jungle Fiction trio bring both the melodies of Dreamwave and the buzzsaw synths of hard Electro create what seems to be the Nu-Disco equivalent of 80s hair metal, which is rad as fuck! The Fiction are defiantly up there with Kavinsky and Danger and should be kept an eye on. [...]

I am so out of it today.I hate gray skies and rain.Ugh i'm so ready for the nice weather to take effect.Maybe I need to look into moving somewhere tropical.I do have to admit though it could be worst.I do know that a bunch of you in the North East and Mid West have been getting pounded with snow storms.I feel for you guys.So in light of all this crappy weather we are all getting I have a nice track list that should warm us all up and let us party where ever it is that we are. Also one last [...]
