The Bang EP is the first release off Karton's second album 'Find The Constant'. Karton's work has received a lot of attention the past year following their Breakspoll nomination and debut album in 2010. The EP showcases the new musical direction the Australian duo has taken, focusing on heavier club sounds. Normally Jack Herror is our Drum and Bass man, so I'm far from an expert on it, but here it goes. Karton (rather ridiculous name when reading it in dutch where karton means cardboard) is a duo from Australia, producing music ranging from from Breakbeat, DNB to Electronica, very diverse for one single duo. The second single from their 'for All Seasons' album, Karton 's 'All You Need' is a pedal-to-the-metal Electro-Rock/ElectroPop powerhouse. Blowing the cobwebs out of electronic music the track is a collision of anthemic vocals, rock beats and killer synths. Still sounding a little like the harder Infusion tracks, with the buzzsaw synths, although that is no bad thing, Karton's forthcoming album should defiantly be worth investigating. [...]
