In case you missed it, Kasabian took over Terminal 5 last Thursday. The Bowery Presents stream ed it live on their YouTube channel and have posted parts of it. Because I like Ka sabian , because I find "Vlad The Impaler" insanely irresistible and because The Bowery Presents Live provided this nifty clip, I make this my video of the day.

Yesterday we heard a small snippet of brand new music from Soundgarden from their brand new song called "Live To Rise" from The Avengers soundtrack. After 6 long years, Kasabian finally graced our American shores with a tour. There were many a fan who were not going to miss this show. Having played mostly support slots in America and never in Washington DC, Kasabian had big promises to keep for the waiting crowd. Support was provided by San Antonio, Texas band Hacienda. Lamentablemente (o no), no voy a asistir al primer día del festival. Ahora, si fuera, lo más probable es que llegara a las 4 y media para ver un rato a Vetusta Morla que, aunque no son mi máximo, pues va, España y rock, va. Los de Kasabian andan promocionando con todo su nuevo álbum, Velociraptor! , pero tal parece que el presupuesto que les han dado para realizar su trabajo no es demasiado, con todo y que al disco le ha ido bastante bien en cuanto a crítica se refiere. A banda Inglesa é a mais recente confirmação para o festival minhoto, que celebra este ano a sua 20ª edição. A banda actua no dia 16 de Agosto, último dia. Os Kasabian juntam-se à celebração do 20º aniversário do Festival EDP Paredes de Coura, com uma actuação dia 16 de Agosto. Cabeças de cartaz de grandes festivais como Reading e T in the Park, a banda britânica traz a Portugal o mais recente longa-duração, "Velociraptor!". Kasabian lançou clipe para Neon Noon , música que faz parte do disco Velociraptor! . O disco é setembro do ano passado e a avaliação do Rock'n'Beats o encaixou na categoria "obsoleto" , antingindo nota 4 dos nossos colaboradores. O guitarrista da banda Sergio Pizzorno explica o clipe. "Eu estava em casa apagando as luzes do quarto do Ennio [seu filho] e notei que estava projetando imagens psicodélicas na minha camisa, então decidi gravar um pequeno vídeo para Neoon Noon usando meu celular e quatro espelhos", diz.

Este fin de semana Kasabian se estara presentando en nuestro pais como parte del line up del Vive Latino del que como recordaran, el dia de ayer les hable un poco sobre mi sentir en cuanto a este festival el cual por puritititita obviedad hizo enojar a muchas personas por ahi a fuera e incluso un tipo que se decia 'odiar' al Vive Latino termino metiendose en el papel de troll. Justamente dentro de un mes, el 21 de abril de 2012, se celebra de nuevo el Record Store Day, un día donde las bandas y artistas musicales dan su apoyo a las tiendas de música lanzando rarezas o pistas especiales para la ocasión. En los últimos días hemos escuchado las novedades de grupos como Arctic Monkeys o Miles Kane, y ahora lo hacemos de Kasabian, que acaban de anunciar que lanzarán un 7’’ con motivo de tal señalado día. El vinilo incluirá dos temas que sus fanáticos ya han escuchado, aunque no queda claro [...]
