Foi hoje anunciado mais um nome para o Palco Heineken do Optimus Alive!12 ; A cantora e compositora britânica, Katy B irá passar pelo palco secundário do Passeio Maritimo de Algés no dia 14 de Julho.

Katy B, Flux Pavilion, Youngman, Burns and High Contrast, Azealia Banks and Rizzle Kicks ave all been added to this year's Wakestock Festival . They'll join the likes of Biff Clyro, The Cribs, The Joy Formidable, Ellie Goulding & more from July 6–8 in Cardigan Bay in Abersoch, north Wales. Coca-Cola taps Mark Ronson, Katy B for London 2012 Olympics spot

The MARK RONSON got paid loads of dosh to travel the world with Coca-Cola so they can create a new dance mp3 using the sounds of sport from five Olympic hopefuls. The KATY B got paid substantially less to provide vox on the choon. Below is the horrendous video that's only worthy of a view for that moment a helicopter zooms out of the Olympic village, and you can almost spot me home. For better or for worse, UK-based music magazine NME has rolled out its shortlist of nominees for its 2012 NME Awards. Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga and Adele each earned noms across the various irreverent categories — some more forgiving than others. During a recent live-in-studio session for the BBC, the Arctic Monkeys busted out a snarkily affectionate cover of "Katy On A Mission," the ridiculously catchy dubstep-pop hit from fellow Brit Katy B. The Monkeys didn't try to add any bass-drops to their version; instead, they played it like a vintage garage-rock tune, swiping the riff from Johnny Kidd & The Pirates' " Shakin' All Over " in the process. Francamente nunca le he entrado de lleno al trabajo de Katy B y lo que he llegado a escuchar de esta chica ha sido a traves de algunos sencillos que ha estado sacando y que por purititita obviedad, son de esos tracks que estan teniendo una rotacion constante en los canales de videos como "On A Mission". Un track, que para serles sincero, es uno de esos que podria llegar a escuchar en cualquier lugar y no me generaria ningun conflicto y de hecho, debo decir que disfruto mucho de la voz de Katy B asi que lo mas probable [...]

Called it ! A few weeks ago I said we'd have an Arctic Monkeys cover and a weird one at that. Today on Radio One, Alex Turner and the band were in the Live Lounge on the forgettable Fearne Cotton show to put in some performances. Laying down a great rendition of "Black Treacle" they then went on to perform a mystery cover. The song they chose was Katy B 's " Katy on a Mission " and turned the dub track not a chilled guitar number with tremolo filled guitar lines. Check out [...]
