NYC's Cousin Cole has put together a stuttering, percussive remix of Adele. It has all the ratatat rhythmic swagger of a UK funky production, but a little more stripped to give the centerpiece - those stunning, yearning vocals - room to breathe. As much as Jamie XX's remix is nice - and it's been getting nods from just about everyone - but the punchy drums and surging bass here fit perfectly with the original's magnificent, rising sense of drama:.
