This could be the most interesting record I buy in 2009. Charles Spearin (of Broken Social Scene , Do Make Say Think , KC Accidental ) will be releasing an album (Feb. '09, Arts and Crafts ) called The Happiness Project . It will not sound like anything you have in your collection. Its a series of interviews with his neighbors based loosely around their concepts of what happiness is. With music. Before Broken Social Scene, Kevin Drew with Charles Spearin formed K.C. Accidental . I knew about this band but I've never listened any of its songs. The story of my life for the last 18 months has been a lack of sleep. I remember living in Toronto when Broken Social Scene's You Forgot it in People came out. It was the type of album that seemed to leak into the air. People were talking about it all over the city.
