This is the Susan Tedeschi and Derek Trucks -fronted band's first Academy win. 'Revelator' is a fusion of the couple's individual styles, melding Tedeschi's husky sweet vocals with Trucks' incendiary slide-blues style.

Hall will play the Northeast with Sharon Jones and others in April.

Keb Mo's 1994 eponymous debut showcased a guitar-playing, blues-inflected troubadour who owed as much to Robert Johnson and Son House as anyone else.
