Hot on the heels of the clip for ' Starworshipper ' here's the latest clip from Futurecop! , for the forthcoming, Keenhouse featuring 'The Only Way', which was 'Dreams' before that (being Futurecop! must get confusing). Brandon Dermer directs this amazingly '80's video, which is an awesome fun mini-movie. 'The Only Way' features on 'The Adventures Of Starpony' EP, out now. Buy Futurecop!'s music from:
Less than two weeks after the video release of "Starworshipper", Futurecop! continues building buzz in their tunes with the music video release of "The Only Way" featuring Keenhouse. Released through The Sleepover Party, a Brooklyn-based indie label, "The Only Way" has a dance-pop vibe that can get anybody dancing and singing along to the chorus. [...]
We've already mentioned how great we think the new Keenhouse EP is . However, the man has allowed us a free download to share, that free download is " Skyscrapers " and it's our favourite track on the EP ( click video for the win ). It's out now and you can grab it in full quality on Beatport NOW because the download is not full-quality, giving that away would be mental . Keenhouse - Skyscrapers [ Download ] [...]

Blake Robin A.K.A. Baron Von Luxxury has been creeping around, injecting classic sounding tracks and reMixes into out consciousness for a while now and this week saw the release of his new album, 'The Last Seduction'. Be warned, it's ElectroPop gold! The album seems like, I don't mind saying, the perfect meeting of Nu-Disco and '80's SynthPop, from the opening track, the Moroder stylings of 'The Lovely Theresa', it's all cosmic Disco grooves and big '80's choruses. there is something so addictive in the Baron's mastery of both Funky dancefloor grooves and what can [...]

Well, it's finally out in the wild, the last seven months of my life have come to fruition as we are amazingly proud to present ' electronic rumors volume 1'. I won't go on about it, it's possible that i would have a hard time reviewing it objectively, so take a listen to Ride The Universe's awesome minimix of the compilation featuring all 15 tracks. It's almost weird that it's real now and if you like physical media I would really recommend the CD, it comes in a stunning DigiPak designed by Sebastian Bentler [...]

The solo project from composer Ken Rangkuty, Keenhouse delivers a unique blend of electronic wizardry and dreamy synth-pop that creates something richer your average bedroom dreampop. The demos that would become Keenhouse's debut Civic Transit were a reaction to Rangkuty's own desires to combine his own extensive training on piano with a desire to make communicative pop music of his own. Taking inspiration from his diverse upbringing in Indonesia and Germany, Keenhouse's music drifts around nostalgic takes on a youth remembered only in dreams. Themes of teenaged innocence, young love, and futuristic fantasies paint a picture of equal [...]

Keenhouse is about to unleash another EP on his label, Sunlinxx . " Better Days " is made of two parts, the first is an ever building disco-house beast and the second is some old-skool Chicago-House beats. It's released March 5th with two other tracks, " Release Me " and " Skyscrapers ". Better Days (1) by keenhouse Better Days (2) by keenhouse [...]
In March, one of out favourite musicians (note, I said musician, not producer!) Keenhouse is back with a new EP, 'Better Days'. The new record is four tracks of Keenhouse's freeform Disco that, once again, perfectly display Ken's exceptional talent both as in instrumentalist and an arranger. The last few years have seen Keenhouse move more and more into an almost Jazz take on Nu-Disco and 'Better Days' is no exception. It's a melting pot of ideas, effortlessly shifting from style to style, from riff to riff, everything held in place with a deep disco groove. [...]

On March 5 (Beatport) and March 13 (worldwide) LA producer Keenhouse will be back with a new EP on Sunlinxx Records entitled "Better Days". Apparently the days have been so good so Mr Keenhouse has included not one, but two tracks called "Better Days", with the obvious goal to double the goodness. And good they, indeed, are. I really, really like how he has transformed his sound from a softer more dreamwave sound, to a deeper garage sound. Don't get me wrong, I liked him before, but I think I like this even better. Apart from [...]

Keenhouse has always been on the radar be his moist remixes or stunning originals over the years - it really is hard for the LA resident to put a foot wrong with "Better Days" another glowing example of good music . For starters the track is long, like really long and measures in at + 7 minutes, it also moves slightly away from the super lush/dreamy stuff and purrs along like an auto built for the road - hugging the corners and accelerating effortlessly. Seems like a nu-disco house crossover... [...]

Rhythm Droid 's " Sunrise On Planet Tokyo " is a getting a re-release and re-mastering courtesy of Keenhouse's Sunlinxx label. If you dont remember, two years ago we made it our " Track of 2009 ". So we wont bore you again with details of it's powerful awesomeness.... Rhythm Droid - Sunrise On Planet Tokyo It is now supported with a Keenhouse remix though. Get your percussion-house vibes on. Rhythm Droid - [...]

Fireworks superduo Futurecop!, who previously did a mix for Nite Versions , are back with a brand new EP entitled "The Adventures Of Starpony". The release is already out and consists of 6 tracks - a MPM remix and 5 original tracks all featuring some other name. Stream "The Adventures Of Starpony" EP in its entirety and check out people's favorite tune of it, "Is It A Crime", which is currently #8 on Hypem's Popular Tracks chart.
Tokyo based producer Rhythm Droid drops a new single for Sunlinxx next week. It's gonna' be huge! 'Sunrise On Planet Tokyo' is an epic seven minutes but never gets boring, there's always a new layer, a new musical insert about to happen in the track. Taking the best of beach Dreamwave and late night Nu-Disco, Rhythm Droid takes the listen, or dancer, on a journey that's set up by a simple, but infectious hook that is used to always deliver something new. Label buddy Keenhouse in on the reMix with a euphoric [...]

The return of Keenhouse has gone slightly unoticed in the blogosphere, with synth-wizard releasing a new EP, "The Summer Society" on his own label, Sunlinxx . Those expecting the Sesame Street synth vibes of his Civic Transit EP are going to be a little surprised, this EP still sounds like Keenhouse, but, this a producer who has matured a fair bit since you've last heard him.... Lead track, "The Summer Society", is the standout. Classic house-pianos meets squelchy synths, with a little bit of Jazz thrown in... and it builds... boy does it build. [...]

There once was a man that liked to electronic music, remixes, and the word cumberbun... That dude is me. True Story: I was once told by a stranger at a wedding that the casual cumberbun exists... One thing you can always bet on with new music from Keenhouse is that it'll smash your preconceived ideas of what you think it's going to be. On the cusp of the release of his second album comes the Summer Society EP , which takes the Civic Transit style of Keenhouse on a summer vacation to the beach and chills and distills the groove into something new, yet something still very Keenhouse in sound and spirit. A word is not spoken or sung over the four tracks which lets [...]

This September Disco/Funk/ElectroPop wizard Keenhouse released a brand new EP for Sunlinxx Records. Keenhouse's trademark had always been raw talent when his fingers meet the keys. A musician before a producer his ear for melody and riffs shines through in the four track 'The Summer Society' EP. The four tracks give us a nice variety too. From the jazzed-up Nu-Disco of the title track and laid back beach Funk of 'Piu Electric' to the Acid Tropical Cosmic Disco (yes!) of 'Lost Constellation' and the chilled 'Homestill' that eases you out of the EP with sweet tunes. [...]

Christian Strobe is the new project of Christian Schnall . I've never heard of his name before, so I checked his other projects (Disco Trash Music and Spruce) and found out he handles 3 quite different genres, including this new one. I'm not huge fan of the other projects but this track "Midnight Call" is just so delightful. It's a catchy pop track, but id doesnt over do it. The press release describes it quite well, "airy new wave pop, retro-futurism with a pinch of house". Yes, that's it! Luckily, the radio edit of the original is free to share, so.. enjoy! [...]
