No, I don't know why Sam Landry should be The Shepherd either. Sam Shepherd, perhaps? Probably not. No matter. The new self-release Everything is Everything Else* (which coincides with the dextrous remastering of his earlier De fe'kun.dus ad salus & Sounds of the Sleepless Sam Vol.I ) marks a further [...]

You'd like to think a more remarkable recording than Kenneth Kirschner 's mammoth delicacy 7/17/10 will emerge this year. Or you would if you share my greed for the unheard, the next thing... But it almost certainly won't – what could live with the florid [...]

Kenneth Kirschner has floated in LMYE's peripheral vision for so long - featuring alongside Taylor Deupree in this little post , as a remixer/responder in this one on TU M' , & in his own right in a long-unfinished ambient/drone/post-classical grab-bag - that it grates to finally feature his work in a cursory way. But time is tight, for a change, & the just under six minutes of his celestial, faintly tidal April 17, [...]

PP2OR is actually a riff on the Post Piano album by Deupree + Kirschner, which itself used a "sketch" by Kirschner ("Novermber 11 2003") as the source material/starting point for new tracks. Out of hundreds of submissions, twenty-one tracks made [...]

In the entire history of cinema there has never been a director, who has made such a dramatic stand for the human spirit as he did. Today, when cinema seems to have drowned in a sea of glamorized triviality, when human relationships on screen have been reduced to sexual intrigue or sloppy [...]
