He dropped the audio a few months back, and the track has seen it's way onto a few playlists over here. The very fresh sounding beat with piano lines and clever sample give the track a nice upbeat feel. The video suits it, showing Dunson's new clean cut image. Kenton Dunson  has dropped the first single off of his forthcoming mixtape, The Investment . "Count On It" supposedly samples Sesame Street's animated pinball segment ( Pinball Number Count , which frankly, I am too young to recognize), chosen because it carries a little more meaning for Dunson than for some others: "Count on It" represents the unapologetic confidence you have when you have put your work in. I love how it incorporates a childhood sample that so many of us are familiar with. That helped me keep it ambitious but not overly aggressive!
