Like many artists fed up with not making money via major record labels, Amanda Palmer said goodbye and sought to release her newest album on her own. Palmer decided to use the magical program as Kickstarter to do so. However, unlike past musicians, Palmer set a pretty high goal -- $100,000. Well, guess what.
