Rock Werchter has announced the preliminary lineup for this year's festival, which takes place July 4th-7th in Werchter, Belgium. Blur, Depeche Mode, Phoenix, Rammstein, Green Day, and Kings of Leon top the bill, which also includes Sigur Rós, Band of Horses, Alt-J, Bloc Party, Jessie Ware, Disclosure, Django Django, Two Door Cinema Club, Of Monsters and Men, C2C Graveyard, Editors, 30 Seconds to Mars, and Richard Hawley. As a music-obsessed New Yorker, I’ve been waiting my whole life for a festival worthy of the likes of Coachella, ACL, Lollapalooza, to take place in the Big Apple. I had a great time at the Governors Ball last year. With the 2013 lineup announcement, it seems like the festival is growing a lot bigger. Not only is there another day added (June 7,8,9) but the quality and size of the artists particiapting this year seem to be on an all-around grander scale.
