I'm thoroughly impressed with this Klaxons remix. Steve Aoki blends some typical trance sounding leads with just enough bite to give it the electro edge. The disco-like groove the song builds on works very well with Jamie Reynolds' vocals. Steve Aoki has definitely progressed as a producer. Enjoy this one. It's been a busy week. I'm not sure where all the time goes. I get up every morning, I blink and twelve-thirteen hours have passed by. Add in a few moments of eating and about seven-eight hours of sleeping, and I rinse and repeat... It's weird though, I get up early on workdays, but I get up even earlier on the weekends. Klaxons are heading to the US in March, starting in Orlando and hooking through the Midwest to finish in California. For the Chicago gig, they'll be gracing Metro . Their last appearance at Lincoln Hall was very excellent, I'm very glad to see 'em back with such haste. Who knows- maybe they'll let me do a ticket giveaway for this one? Stay tuned. For a while, it felt like the Klaxons were going to start a new British invasion. They made a big splash here in the states (but maybe not quite big enough), but it won't stop them from trying again. Their latest album, Surfing the Void , was released earlier this year, and they'll be arriving this spring with a few shows in support of the disc.
