Everything is shot in my house and garden in Sweden and the scenes from the road is where I walk every day. I was heavily involved in most parts of the video but we were a lot of people who worked hard together. Swedish electro she-popper Karin Park gives us the debut visuals for her latest single 'Restless.' The clip was shot on location in Sweden and was directed by Olle Lundin. Her new project ' Highwire Poetry ' will see daylight on May 28th.
Ever since Afrojack exploded onto the scene in 2010, he's been dropping bombs. I wish I could say I feel the same about this tune. While this song will do very well in the summer, I'm not a full fan. But don't let me stop you from enjoying this one!
The sexy Belgian duo Charlotte (vox, keyboard) and David (synths, drumbox, computer prog) aka Soldout are back with an amazing video for their new unstoppable electro hymn 'Wazabi' which will be released digitally only today via Rough Trade Distribution as a preview for their upcoming album which will be released in August. By bringing Cabaret [...]

Last month, Rad Summer released one our most popular projects to date: Lemi Vice and Knife Fight's collaboration the Knife Vice Moombahton EP . It seemed as if overnight the EP exploded all over the internet with its bouncy drums and huge basslines, and by the end of the first week it resided firmly in the top 10 of Beatport's electro house releases. Not being ones to let a good thing die too soon, the Knife Vice boys have curated this bananas six track remix release. With remixes from Red Mob, jFET, Sputnik, Filthy Disco, John [...]

And my favorite electronic duo Death Rattle returns with another new song and video for Do As You Please. This latest track sees them continuing their foray into dark electronica territory, armed with a video of intensely choreographed dance moves, Helen Hamilton almost like Natalie Portman in Black Swan, her vocals stronger than ever. Do As You Please is only the 2nd song that is publicly released by Death Rattle thus far. It's a relatively new project but Death Rattle has been around for years, in other guises such as That Mouth and Los. And the more I hear them, [...]

Swedish electro-goth princess Karin Park has announced the release of her highly anticipated album 'Highwire Poetry' on the 28 th May. Following the release of her UK debut last September with critically acclaimed EP 'Tiger Dreams', Karin Park is a new name to many outside of Scandinavia, while at home Karin has already picked up two Norwegian Grammy's and recently supported Azari & III and SBTRKT on their European tour dates. Karin's unique blend of moody electronica, dark yet hooky choruses and her spell-binding voice all showcase her passion for industrial, experimental 80's pop and the electronic [...]

According to the soundcloud description, J£ZUS MILLION put this track together last Summer, but has only just got around to posting it. The fact that he has tracks like this sat around on his computer that he can throw out there in such a flippant manner is quite scary. We doubt 2012 will be the year this young dude explodes, but we can guarantee that come the end of it, the foundations will be firmly set in place.

I missed out on my gig at the Super Happy Funland SXSW after party in Houston this week as my tour bus broke down in Austin, but Space City Rock blog did a really great write up for the gig. I hope people found out in time that I couldn't make it. I'm playing March 25th at Dun Bros Coffee in Katy, TX instead if you want to come and see my show. I'll admit to being somewhat biased towards Swedish musicians, these days; [...]

Playing in a packed out underground room in the city of Leeds, First Aid Kit put on a solid and enjoyable performance. For those who aren't familiar with the band, it consists of two Swedish siblings; Johanna and Klara, who were joined on stage for parts of the gig by a friend playing percussion. Despite a tentative start... Read more..
Posted in Something For The Weekend Soundbite Niki & The Dove are this weeks choice for Weekend Tunage, I've said it once and I'll say it again - there's something in the water in Scandinavia. The caliber of pop music that's been emerging from these countries over the past few years is damn high. Niki & The Dove have been on many [...]

Most of what you'll be listening to here is often referred to as dubstep, but can encompass all genres of heavy bass music. To quote bass music artist ill.Gates, [...]
