Koortwah - Originally, Jake Courtois, who opted for a more phonetic sobriquet - has a dark and brooding sound with a touch of Warholian ecstasy. Not only is his music as good as his looks, but he also has begun pairing his songs with simple yet interesting, and aesthetically beautiful videos. Heloise & The Savoir Faire On Friday night, those in the know came out to Le Poisson Rouge for what was guaranteed to be a glittery disco-drenched dance party. And that it was.
