![Kutiman – This is Real Democracy [VIDEO]](http://cdn.elbo.ws/posts/3733058_lg.jpg)
Our favorite mashup video artist is back again with his latest undertaking. Kutiman took the YouTube world by storm when he released his first series of "mashup" videos where he takes random YouTube videos of people playing instruments and weaves them together to create a whole new concise sound. Now, he's decided to go a little bit political in his latest video entitled "This is Real Democracy". But, once again he takes instrument playing videos and also political videos and weaves them all together to present the message. He mentions that he isn't trying to "promote violence" and [...]
Some of these are new and some are old, but hopefully most of them surprise you. Posted Young Empires once before, this has been out for a while but ive been listening to it a lot lately. Sunday Girl- "Self Control (Young Empires Remix)" This was up back last November but I don't think it got the love it deserved. Ocelot- "Beating Hearts (Louis La Roche Remix)" Cool remix, gets a little dubby. Kutiman- [...]
![Kutiman – Black Dog [Video Mashup Cover?]](http://cdn.elbo.ws/posts/3584763_lg.jpg)
It's a bit hard to give a good descriptive title to this new release from Kutiman . Now, we first posted about him when he did his Thru-You album where he took random videos from youtube, from different users, and mashed them together to make a perfectly seemless unique sound. Now, he's back with a perfect followup. He has taken random people performing Led Zeppelin 's "Black Dog" and mashed them all together do produce something only someone like Kutiman could pull off. It's great because the mix is perfect and, at the same time, lets [...]

Boom Pam is a tuba-driven surf rock trio from Tel Aviv. I'm going to give you a second to read that again. Let's continue. The band has enlisted the skills of musician/producer/video artist Kutiman to bring to life Light Up , a tune from their recent Alakazam release, to the little screen. The song is a trip (sure a tuba is fat, but who knew it could hold down the low end?) and Kutiman achieved the video's stunning effects by [...]
![Kutiman – My Favorite Color [VIDEO + AUDIO]](http://cdn.elbo.ws/posts/3334669_lg.jpg)
We are a little late on this track but considering we have no posts on Kutiman ; we need to make sure you didn't miss on out his latest release. If you aren't familiar with him; he is a Israeli musician/producer and he really skyrocketed his fame back in 2009 when he launched the thruYOU campaign. The basic concept is that Kutiman would take random youtube videos and mix them all together to make a truly unique music arrangement. Is newest video is called "My Favorite Color" which features the vocals of a young girl with some amazing pipes. [...]
Kutiman is a YouTube-based mixer and producer, but that description really sells the man short. The warm jazz of My Favorite Color can be taken as a continuation of his Thru You series. He takes a bunch of YouTube videos of amateur musicians singing and playing, and through some devilish synthesis turns them into completely new performances. It's shockingly good. Kutiman lists all of his sources. What makes it all the more remarkable is that if you click through to the original performances, you'll probably be [...]
[There is a video that cannot be displayed in this feed. Visit the blog entry to see the video.] This is just a piece of art. There have been videos made in this fashion before. But this song, this song right here? Beautiful. Kutiman is THE man.
This is pretty stunning. Israeli producer/composer Kutiman (who you may remember from his YouTube-mixing ThruYOU project from 2009), using only YouTube videos of 23 musicians as raw materials and some smart editing, creates a dense, psyche-jazz piece that to these ears recalls someone like Pharaoh Sanders or the Coltranes . More Kutiman at Twitter , Wikipedia .
When I was young, I admired my musical heroes, naturally. I thought it was because of their ability to hit a drum, strum a chord, or play the fastest bass line, or in short - their technique. Over the years I've realized, that the musicians I kept on admiring, after my wonder years were gone, were [...]
Never ceasing to amaze and fascinate, Kutiman (whose groundbreaking Thru-You video album was chosen by Time Magazine as One of the 50 Best Inventions of 2009 ) has returned with another video in the vein of the Thru-You series. Digging on an even deeper level, he returns to form with this new song entitled "My Favorite Color". This bit of smoothed-out jazz is in a class of its own, furthering the mystique that Kutiman has helped to generate in a class of his own. Kutiman - My Favorite Color

Kutiman is back with an another brilliant YouTube mashup diggin' in the dirt perfectism
Pan Kutiman z Izraela bywał już u nas na blogu ( tu i tu ). Ostatnio skończył kolejny swój projekt " SueYou ". Znów bawi się sztuką audio-video. Tym razem pociął i posklejał kilkadziesiąt teledysków (pełna lista w jutjubowym opisie owego dzieła ) w taki oto video mega mix : ciekawe czym Kutiman zaskoczy nas kolejnym razem? miłego, g.
Kutiman first came to my attention with his phenomenal Thru-You project where he cut and pasted from a multitude of videos to create wholly original compositions. The artist's work has recently been displayed his work at the YouTube exhibition at the Guggenheim in New York. His most recent project was for Israeli singer Karolina. The [...]

Kutiman to wyjątkowa postać. No problemo! Wejdźcie tu i do roboty: Craftsman Labs (sekcja "Build [...]
today is Monday, let's start the week and let's do some work this piece been made of the sounds of Craftsman tools mixed and edited by Kutiman no musical instruments were used

If you take a look at the recently-published list of Time Magazine's "50 Best Inventions of 20093 , you will find many technologically significant inventions - NASA's missles, a racing car made entirely out of food, and even a human-powered vending machine. Among these inventions, a surprising (and deserved) addition has appeared: the YouTube remix projects of Israeli musician & composer Kutiman as seen in his prodigious website, ThruYOU . ThruYOU, completed in just two months time, is a sweeping work of musical "found [...]

( Editor's note: this originally appeared on Loudersoft on 4 March 2009. I've updated the post to include MP3's of the tracks so that, hopefully, it will pull people from MP3 search engines to discover Kutiman and his site. It's definitely my favorite website of 2009 and, without a doubt, one of my favorite experiences of the past decade.) Perennial Loudersoft favorite (and Israeli soul brother extraordinaire) Kutiman has changed the game up inna massive style with http://thru-you.com - wherein he takes pieces of videos from [...]
