Without question, one of the more talented, albeit perpetually under-appreciated, DJs out there is Kutmah. Part of the reason for that could be the fact that he's no longer allowed in the States following his deportation in 2010, which leaves everyone on my side of the pond frustrated. But, you know, as long as he's putting together insanely good mixes like this one for FACT , we should all be OK. For more than 80 minutes, Kutmah mans the decks for a moody, expertly crafted journey through sound. Peep it below.

Ever heard of Ghent? I didn't think so. Well, if you haven't, don't beat yourself up too much because not once have I heard that perfectly plain North American yammer during my time spent here, despite the town bearing Lonely Planet's number 7 spot on its 10 Places to Visit Before You Die list. But enough about the town. Its lovely. Trust me. Canals, churches, cobblestone, jolly drunks, pretty people, and prettier personalities; its all here. What else is here, though, is an incredibly unique concert series showcasing an acute selection of electronic music's foremost purveyors. That's the [...]

Sweatson Klank Little Time To Fly + In Between One of LA’s finest underground producer’s, the artist formerly know as Take is back, and thanks to Shitgeto’s guest mix for BTS Radio , I’m all over it him like cougar moms at a white wine tasting. Two of Sweatson Klank’s newest bangers make an appearance on Shigeto’s mix, but his latest latest beatsturmental creation, a two step love song of a track that twirls around itself in utter bliss is something really special. “Little Time To Fly” is part of a [...]

Kutmah Presents: Worldwide Family Volume 2 Brownswood Recordings: 2012 UK native Kutmah has dug into the Brownswood crates to compile the eclectic and varied: Worldwide Family Volume 2 . The 21-track compilation album is a happy balance of known and unknown artists, as compilations or mixes of this type often end up being collections of tracks you know (and own) from equally familiar artists. But, I have to say that this tracklist surprised me with plenty of new names. I was pleased to make the musical acquaintance of Seven Davis Jr. with the [...]

In the words of Daniel Bryan... "YES! YES! YES! YES! YES! YES! YES! YES! YES!" I personally have been waiting on some vintage Sam Seven & some New New of Seven Davis Jr. Confused? I'll explain. Sam Davis Jr. (Sammy Davis Jr. nigga?! WHAT!?) was once Sam Seven . Went into hibernation for a stint then resurfaced with a brand new/old sound that took the heavyweights by storm & since then has been killin it under his new moniker Seven Davis Jr. He produces, writes, sings, raps all his [...]

Tweet Slugabed 's forthcoming single Sex has left me with a haunted look in my eyes. I hit play and immediately I'm imagining him perched on the edge of the silk sheets of his king-sized bed. He's elegantly mustachioed, wearing his lucky silk kimono and has a glass in one hand and a cigarillo in the other. The lights are turned down, there's a mirror on the ceiling and a lot of things in the drawer of his bedside [...]
