Welcome back to your weekly dose of drama-erasing, stress-reducing, love-making-to ear milk. This week we're bringing you the ultimate in "sit back and just take a moment" music: a full hour long mix put together by Tom Morgan for the Electronic Groove Podcast; the new Ianborg track (sent to me literally moments ago), some Anodyne Industries, a [...]
Sorry for the 4 day delay in posts Jammers - but holy fuck are you lucky today with this massive FSP. I'm still unaware of BlairBeats' excuse for withholding his weekly dubstep fire but I can assure you that FSP #36 has you covered. I've thrown in a whole bunch of shit from the newest [...]

I've been a massive fan of KZA aka. Toshiya Kawasaki for a while now and his dreamy ambitious disco makes my mind wonder. You can escape to world you've never imagined and stay there as long as you want with a repeat button. I can really call this love at first sight affair. I heard Le Troublant Acid on radio and had to hear it on repeat for months after that. Listen to this and you'll understand. kza - le troublant acid kza - mechanique [...]

Some serious disco heat from Magnetic Soul here: some funky disco business, with an impossibly catchy hook clipped straight from a Randy Crawford record. Yes, it's a vinyl-rip with plenty of crackling, and only at 160kbps; nevertheless, this one'll have you singing and stomping around the room like it's '72 (via Disco Delicious ): Magnetic Soul - Blue Flame [pelski highly recommends] {160 kbps} { buy } The next two come courtesy of one of my favourite blogs Keytars & Violins . Two deep disco house cuts: [...]

Kza - Goody Goody ( buy ) This gem is taken from Kza's Let's Get Lost Vol.1 and is an edit of Vincent Montana Jr and Goody Goody's track It Looks Like Love released in 1978. Coming into 2011 and Let's Get Lost Vol.6 is just about to drop some further disco dynamite on us . I'm very much enjoying Luv*Jam 's 99 Minute Mix Tape just now. A spot on selection of dreamy deep [...]

Once upon a midnight dreary, KZA untuned themselves into a binge of tender debauchery where only a few handsome souls have managed to come back. Gentle yet melancholic, Le Troublant Acid is the exaggerated recalling of a half-remembered euphoria. The B side, Mechanique wipes those dance-floor tears away, reminding that we are only biomechanical creatures and brings energy back to the nostalgia infused psyche .

Mixtape Enero / Febrero by juliangrs KZA - Le Troublant Acid Download [...]

Two of the Netherlands most exciting talents, Tiesto and Hardwell, combine their strengths on this MASSIVE, still unreleased tune to make a progressive sounding dutch masterpiece with more raw energy in it than a nuclear bomb. This is a radio rip, since the track isn't released anywhere, but the quality is better than just about any radio rip I've ever heard. This track isn't set to be released

A solid tune for Sunday evening... Kza: 'Le Troublant Acid' [ mp3 ]

This track is taken from KZA's Dig and Edit album, which gives you a pretty good idea of what the theme is. I'm nowhere near savvy enough to name the sample here, but I'm a firm believer in KZA's sampling and editing skills. I'm pretty sure they're both showcased perfectly here. Relentlessly twisting arpeggiators, simple drum patterns and an insisting, relaxed feel makes Routine's name slightly ironic. KZA's tracks are perfect for daydreaming escapades and weekday oases where the light and crisp synths seem oh so soothing. You may complain that this is too much [...]

pic: Alex Robbins KZA - On & On & On ( buy ) KZA - Routine ( buy ) KZA makes up one half of Japanese electronic legends Force Of Nature . His new LP Dig & Edit on Mule Musiq does exactly what it says on the tin, he provides some obscure disco, post-punk and other oddities and then glistens them with that lush [...]
