Lagwagon frontman Joey Cape posted a video interview regarding his band's upcoming US tour plans. The precocious young interviewer goes for the tough questions, asking if the band should just give up, since they're so old. The band most recently put out Putting Music In Its Place , a box set collecting their first five albums, and will be touring the west coast with Cobra Skulls and Nothington later this month.
The organizers of Montreal's Pouzza Fest have added more bands to the festival's ever-expanding lineup. Among those added are Lagwagon , Voodoo Glow Skulls , Cheap Girls , Mikey Erg , Saint Alvia, Disaster Strike, and Immoral Squad. Pouzza Fest is set to take place May 18th - 20th in downtown Montreal, Quebec. You can check out the full lineup at the festival's website .

Today's summer solstice was beautiful in Boston. Sunny, 80F, light breeze. But I am sad. Why you ask? Because tonight I should be enjoying Joey Cape and Cory Branan in concert, but the tour was cancelled. Frown. I've never seen Cape in concert, but he has a 20+ year musical career that spans punk, alternative/indie rock, folk, and even alt country. Owen Meaney - Lagwagon It always seemed to me a pity when this song speeds up and becomes bouncy. After such a beautiful beginning - something i believe now as much as when Fat Wreck Chords comprised most of my music world - violin/viola/EBow, intended prettiness and everything, it's jarring when it kicks into that typical Fat/Epitaph drive with Joey Cape's typical vocals.
