This is a long time coming. Suffice to say, it's been almost a whole year, but Fire Records released the LP, "Kellies," by Argentinean girls, Las Kellies . Despite the album's garage rock tendencies and purring vocals, the strengths of the release rest on the instrumental takes and slower numbers. I wouldn't mind seeing more tracks in Spanish, however, I'll take "Perro Rompebolas," any day and the fourteen song album clocks in at under thirty two minutes. How's that for brevity?
