Who doesn't like Jamiroquai? I think everybody does. His music is funky as hell, and he made some legendary songs. He recently launched a remix competition for "Too Young To Die", and Australian producer Late Nite Tuff Guy decided to join it! He turns the track into a groovy lounge one. The intro with this bassline is just perfect, I can totally imagine it as a soundtrack of a summer rooftop party. If you too thinks he deserves to win, show him some love by sharing the song! Do you [...]
We're delighted to welcome one of our heroes to SlothBoogieTraxx, one who we've been banging on about ever since we started the site! Now the re-editing scene is a very crowded one but Late Nite Tuff Guy has always stood [...]

By Stef Siepel February 15, 2013 The Weekly Froth! A weekly take on six tracks, most of which have recently popped up somewhere in the blogosphere. Bit of a mixed bag with a slight leaning towards house, disco, and remixes, but generally just anything that for some reason tickled the writer’s fancy. Track of the week : ‘Take Your Time’ by Late Nite Tuff Guy Original material from a guy who has been releasing some ace edits the last [...]

I've always taken the lament, " Music's just not as good as it was when I was young " to mean " I'm just not as interested in music as when I was young ". Over the eight years this blog has run a 'best of', styles have come and gone but there's never a shortage of wonderful sounds. These lists are always subjective, personal and far from definitive. Having witnessed pedestrians breaking out into horse riding inspired dance moves as I took a vaguely embarrassing cycle rickshaw journey up Oxford Street with Gangnam Style blasting [...]
"Take Your Time," the latest single from certified funkaholic Late Nite Tuff Guy, is a track so smooth and delicious it might as well melt in your mouth. A sultry explosion of new-age disco infused with elements of smooth jazz and deep house, this original mix from the Aussie producer is the absolute quintessence of chill, effortlessly oozing sensuality with each passing meter that goes by. Also featuring incredibly seductive vocals from the artist Pebbles, which add an almost ethereal quality to the overall production, "Take Your Time" is the perfect start to any late night jam session with no [...]

Late Nite Tuff Guy - Take Your Time

Last year we picked a theme for our Best Mashups of 2011 , which we called "Mashups Not Inspired by Glee," but this year we decided to go with a more positive approach. For 2012, our tribute goes out to Ms. Anna Kendrick. She first caught our eye in Rocket Science and now most recently in Pitch Perfect . And although Pitch Perfect wasn't really our kinda film, Anna playing an aspiring DJ & mashup artist was probably the hottest thing, and DJ, of 2012. Another change to this year's [...]

Renee Geyer - Stare & Whisper (LNTG Interpretation)
It's been a great year for Nightdrive and for me personally. There really is so much music to sift through but I've compiled a list of my favs from the past year that I found particularly interesting, effective in the club, or just inspiring during those private bedroom jam session. I'd like to thank all these artists for their dedication toward their art and for creating for us these gifts that we can enjoy as long as our ears work. It was hard enough to whittle it down to ten songs, so these are in no particular [...]
![Late Nite Tuff Guy – Burning Down The Acid House [LNTG Take A Trip Mix]](http://cdn.elbo.ws/posts/4672747_lg.jpg)
Talking Heads "Burning Down The House" is one of the biggest hits from the 802s which was released in 1983 being part of their massive "Speaking in Tongues" LP. A couple hours ago the Australian producer Late Nite Tuff Guy dropped his take of this super tune. This is the very first time that we're featuring his music, and we couldn't resist to this one. Superb Acid House version of this endless track. Confirm it for yourself!

John Talabot By Stef Siepel The Weekly Froth! A weekly take on six tracks, most of which have recently popped up somewhere in the blogosphere. Bit of a mixed bag with a slight leaning towards house, disco, and remixes, but generally just anything that for some reason tickled the writer’s fancy. It is almost November, traditionally a time some of those these-are-my-favorites-lists start to pop up. With this column going on hiatus after this one, lets look back at some tracks that either were released this year or [...]
