The rather great folky-smoky Laura Gibson drops a new single on April 9th, the brilliant The Fire . Taken from her equally-good La Grande album which was released earlier this year, its timid beginnings slowly morph into something far grander once a stately piano makes its entrance. The whole thing is wonderfully lo fi and has great warmth to it. Well worth a few minutes of your time. Laura Gibson plays a six-date tour of the UK this April.
