Are you thinking the same things I do? If so I'll see you at the Electric Pickle this Thursday for CREEP'S DJ set. This will be the second Girl's On Top party at the emporium where they feature (as Trina would say) Miami's baddest bitch DJs, I'm lucky to be on the lineup for this one along with Heather Holiday and Catherine Song. Cuci from AfroBeta will be hosting the night and making sure to keep it creepy. Shame on you if you don't know the Brooklyn girl duo, they were here last [...]

Download: CREEP feat. Holly Miranda - "Animals (Modern Machines remix)" Spooky goes big room here on this edit from mysterious NYC duo Modern Machines (we know the secret, but it's safe with us) of equally dark duo CREEP (Lauren Flax and Lauren Dillard) and their collaboration with Holly Miranda for "Animals". Perfect to soundtrack any journey you're on, especially if you're going it alone, the edit is the first taste you'll get from Modern Machines, but not the last. Godspeed!
One of the most endearing electronic albums to be released this year came with the debut from Azari & III . The album runs like one long trip to the early 902s dance floor, and we love every minute of it. The acid house tinged single Manic gets the remix treatment from Brooklyn based duo Creep (Lauren Dillard + Lauren Flax .) Download below! DOWNLOAD Manic (Creep Remix) Favorites [...]

11-11-11 was a magical day for NYC's music scene. Plaid and the Gamelan Dhara Swara played at LPR, it was the first night of the Brooklyn Electronic Music Festival, Paco Osuna was spinning at Good Units, and MiM0$a was rocking out at Webster Hall alongside Alex English. Energy levels were high and HiFi was on a mission to catch as much music possible for the eve. Le Passion Rouge was first on the list. We made our way through the doors with plenty of time to down a few Vodka-RedBulls during happy [...]

The darkness meets the light with the vivid remix from the Sub Swara boys of our dear friends CREEP and their "You" track featuring the vocals from Nina Sky, as bass swarms and computer effects mix with the organic vocals and arrangement samples. It's still super sexy like the original, but there's more menace this time around, so come try it. Brooklyn, stand up. (mp3) CREEP feat. Nina Sky - You (Sub Swara remix) Godspeed!

This CREEP mix for the Field Day London festival has been floating around for nearly two months, but it's just now landing on my radar. They threw one of my blends on the playlist, which is a big honor considering I'm a fan of both CREEP and Lauren Flax 's various solo and group projects. Hopefully these two will drop an album soon. Memory Tapes - Green Knight (CREEP Remix) from OFFICIAL CREEP on Vimeo . A lush video for an equally lush remix. Still working out the kinks in the new design, also...figuring out if I actually like it.

Our friends over at MИШKA just released the latest mix from their Keep Watch series of mixtapes. Keep Watch Vol. XXVII features CREEP who everyone should know by now as the double Lauren (Lauren Flax & Lauren Dillard) fronted future goth project. The mix is a mechanical jaunt through some of the darker sounds emulating from the underground. Enjoy the mix and be sure to head over to MИШKA's site to hear more from the series. [...]

I'm really excited about the Creep show tonight at The Vagabond even though I've only heard one track from the group. Creep is two chicks from Brooklyn (LAUREN FLAX + LAUREN DILLARD) who just released their debut EP titled Days off of Young Turks . The single features vocals by Romy Madley Croft from The XX and has been remixed by Azari & III as well as Deadboy. See you tonight! Creep - Days (Azari & III Remix) [...]

The Laurens of Creep have released a new video for their latest collaboration with the talented Nina Sky . Nina Sky's Nicole and Natalie Albino's soulful R&B vocalizations pair seamlessly with this dark and haunting production. The shadowy black and white video is intensely personal and tragic, as well as highly conceptual. You is a visually stunning watch, beautiful and dramatic, while resonant with uncertainty. O S A K A
Brooklyn producing duo CREEP (Lauren Flax and Lauren Dillard) have released the video for their latest single "You". The song and video both feature R&B twins, Nina Sky. CREEP generally has been putting out stuff that's haunting and impactful, the addition of the vocals from the sisters takes it to another level of creepiness. The [...]

Brand new video from CREEP ! The duo of Lauren Flax and Lauren Dillard have really outdone themselves with this one. I'm pretty sure this is my favorite CREEP track so far. I mean, I love "Days" too, but this one just has a great vibe and Nina Sky's vocals are hot. Such a big fan of CREEP. Really some of the best stuff out there right now. Check out the video and some remixes below! CREEP: You [ft. Nina Sky] from Thalia [...]
Love 'em all. Great new song and striking fresh visuals from Creep and Nina Sky . mp3: Creep (featuring Nina Sky) - You

We've been getting hot and bothered over Brooklyn's CREEP for a little old while now, before quite literally getting s teamed up at Annies during their Camden Crawl show a couple weeks back . They're back in the UK as of now, having played last weekend's Great Escape, and they're set to enthral London once again this coming Thursday for the annual Stag & Dagger , where they play XOYO around eleven. Cellos and Madley Croft aside for now, You sees Laurens Dillard and Flax meander in a more classic R'n'B, almost Aaliyah-esque direction, and features disconcertingly [...]

Janine Rostron aka Planningtorock is simply scary. Not scary in the SAW movie franchise kind of way, but scary in the way of chilling your mind/ears over with an excessively perfect flow of beats. Centred in one of the many highly prolific European capitals for electronic dance music as a whole, Berlin hosts Planningtorock's drive, whilst DFA and Rostron Records take care of all of the PR work and future bookings. Brooklyn, New York's duo of Creep are Lauren Flax and Lauren Dillard-sensational.. so they both deliver a glossy coating in melancholy and uplift, [...]

The witchy Brooklyn duo CREEP have just debuted an awesome new remix of planningtorock's latest single "Doorway". The fuzzy electronics on the original have been switched out to for a string section and the vocals have been pitched up a bit (and covered in fog) to make an ethereal and somewhat melancholy new version. Hate to say it, but I actually like the remix MUCH better than the original. Check it out! planningtorock - Doorway (CREEP Remix)

Hands up those of you who remember punk rock? One of the most amazing movements ever to have jumped up and spit all over our music sensibilities, it spawned swearing on TV , ripped clothes, safety pin earrings and changed the face of music forever. It's amazing to think that here we are almost 40 years later but still able to hear punk's legacy in many of today's bands. A leading group of the time in the UK was X-Ray Spex and their singer, Poly Styrene, has returned! She has been a major influence on the Riot [...]
