New York's MS MR were in Australia recently to play some shows including Melbourne's Laneway Festival (where they also ran into The Neighbourhood and Jessie Ware - I can't even fathom seeing that musical threesome all in one day. I'd probably implode.) when they stopped by Triple J to partake in there Like A Version cover series. Lizzy and Max chose the exceptional LCD Soundsystem tune "Dance Yrself Clean." Somehow, I missed it. In November of last year, a brilliant mind mashed together a video of LCD Soundsystem's "New York, I Love You" with a video of Miles Davis' "Elevator to the Gallows" recording session. LCD Soundsystem are set to re-release 2004 single 'Yeah' on 123 vinyl. The track, one of the band's earliest, featured on their self-titled debut album. It will see reissuing come 19 March and includes b-side 'Yeah (Pretentious Version)', which you can stream below. The band recently released a photobook depicted their entire career in pictorial form.
Following the reissue of LCD Soundsystem 's brilliant single 'Losing My Edge' last year, the band are set to reissue another one this March. 'Yeah', which featured on the second disc of LCD Soundsystem's self-titled debut in 2005 and was released the year before on 12" vinyl, will be reissued on March 19th. The originally pressing also featured 'Yeah (Pretentious Version)' - which is thought to be the case on the repress.

Love it or hate it, the image above is the album cover for Yeah Yeah Yeah's new album 'Mosquito'. 'Mosquito' will be the band's fourth LP and the follow-up to 20092s 'It's Blitz'. It sees the band again working with long-time producer David Sitek and Nick Launay, and was recorded at Sonic Ranch in Tornillo, Texas, where 'It's Blitz' was recorded.
