The Metropolitan Jolt is proud to be providing coverage for this year's Identity Festival . We will be profiling artists performing in the lead up to the September 3rd date at the Shoreline Amphitheater. Georgia native Dylan Elland a.k.a Le Castle Vania, has been professionally touring since 2006 and has been everywhere from Europe to Mexico to SF showcasing his heavy, sometimes disco-inspired electro beats. His appearance matches his tracks, and I know I've heard the word 'riot' associated with him and his music a number of times. Singles like Nobody Gets Out Alive embody exactly what [...]
I promised a Le Castle Vania post and here it is. Rarely do I come across an artist where everything he/she/they produce is worth Vacaying to. That said, here's an example. Le Castle Vania has a sound for the ages: basically a batshit-nuts romp song after song. He recently released his Bulletproof Tiger Mixtape and its awesome . Pick it up at lecastlevania.com when you get a chance. I had the daunting task of narrowing down my Le Castle Library to a few tracks for all of VacayNation to enjoy, but after a half hour or so [...]

I have definitely shortened the life of my theatre speakers with some of these tracks over the last little while. You've doubtless heard these guys - Zero Machine is an INCREDIBLY popular club track right now. I dropped it last week and I got one of the best responses I've gotten - seriously, it's those moments that make all the practice and hustling worthwhile. Messiah is something I want to incorporate in to an upcoming mixtape.. it has a really cool vibe - reminds me of Justice - Genesis for some reason. The Grum track definitely utilized some Justice style [...]

This Tuesday, the 30th of September, Andrea and myself will be preforming with the one and only Computer Club here in Tallahassee. This is a special show for us as it is also our fellow jam companion DJ Raid 's birthday as well, and he was the one that wished to have CC travel all this way. So in honor of this occasion, we are posting an official shit-ton of Computer Club tracks to get folks in the know and mood... Hope you enjoy!! [...]

That would be me if I was a cartoon guy who owned a purple shirt, red doo rag and no facial hair. _____ The Alchemist ft. Jadakiss , Snoop Dogg & Pusha T " Lose Your Life " Scarface ft. Lil' Wayne & Bun B " Forgot About Me " Jadakiss ft. Ne-Yo " By My Side " Diddy " Swagga Like Puff " [...]

Extremely hot jam that Le Castle Vania wrote with his Alabama hommie Computer Club . Le Castle Vania explains: "The Messiah" is actually a remake of a classic drum n bass anthem by Konflict but we didn't use any samples from the original song we actually recreated all the sounds including the vocal! Turn it up, these shiz is insane! "The Messiah" | download Get more free tunes [...]
for the record, this is the third time on the same leg. Here's a funny video we found around on the interwebs Not terribly brilliant but quite entertaining. Got two new-ish tunes for y'all, one by the ever-great Acid Girls , demonstrating their penchant for what one could call 'dark disco' The Don (Acid Girls Grey Disco Remix) - Sisters Of Transistors and a new track from the much-loved Computer Club along with his fellow southerner [...]

We don't tend to post much tear-out electro often, but at times, there must be exceptions. There's been the occasional reference to our techy dnb beginnings on here in the past so when we were sent an email yesterday with a file of Le Castle Vania & Computer Club 's rmx of Konflict's dnb anthem Messiah attached, we just had to share. Messiah is one of those dnb tunes much like Bad Company's The Nine or M Beat's Incredible that everyone who attended a rave once in their life has heard before (regardless of what room [...]

Once again the genre of electro is proven to be encompassed by a wide variety of styles. This track Le Castle Vania offered up to the blogs today is a remake of the widely popular "Messiah" by Konflict. Le Castle Vania - The Messiah more tracks

Hey guys just wanted to share my latest tune with you all! I wrote this latest jam with my good homie Computer Club. The Messiah is actually a remake of a classic drum n bass anthem by Konflict but we didn't use any samples from the original song we actually recreated all the sounds including the vocal! any way here are some links to check out Le Castle Vania on Myspace Computer Club on Myspace Always Never Records on Myspace So Sweet Records [...]

i have been waiting for someone to bring some real techstep and neurofunk flavour down to the bpm ranges of electro bangers for ages. the proxy started it and finally someone is taking it to the next level! discodust regulars le castle vania and computer club just dropped the most hard hitting banger for this year so far by giving the konflict classic 'messiah', one of the most successful drum & bass tracks ever, a more than worthy update and complete rework, leaving me all stunned.
