According to Billboard , acclaimed producer and engineer Andy Johns died last week. He was 61. The UK native worked with The Rolling Stones on Exile on Main Street , Sticky Fingers , and It's Only Rock 'n' Roll , and also contributed to each Led Zeppelin album beginning with II through Physical Graffiti . His resume also included sessions with Jimi Hendrix, Van Halen, Ozzy Osbourne, Rod Stewart, and Joni Mitchel. Johns was the uncle of producer Ethan Johns.
