Alexander George "Alex" Clare is a British singer-songwriter. His debut album, The Lateness of the Hour, was released in the UK on 11 July 2011 on Island Records and was produced by Mike Spencer and Major Lazer. His lates single, still taken from the same album came with numbers of remixes including drum & bass remixes from Noisses and this excellent Lenzman remix. Lenzman took the melancholic original into a laid back liquid tune. Alex Clare's Treading Water Remixes is out and available at iTunes

It's around this same time every year that I look at the movie calendar with Memorial Day coming up in a couple of weeks. Unfortunately, the summer blockbuster of yesteryear was plentiful.
