Nachdem ich mir inzwischen so viele verschiedene Jahrescharts von so vielen verschiedenen Menschen angeschaut habe, kann ich sie ehrlich gesagt nicht mehr sehen. Wenn man auf ein Jahr zurckblickt, dann kommen einem doch sowieso eher einzelne Momente in den Sinn - oft wild durcheinanderfliegend und hchstens locker verknpft durch Assoziationen - als irgendwelche Listen. Fan's dragon fly at Flaming Lips show, Sasquatch Music Festival in Memorial Day weekend. It's no secret that I take a lot of pictures. Les Savy Fav did what they do best last night, put on a fucking show. From the second they took the stage, it was nothing but wild antics and great music. Tim Harrington was lost in the crowd for a good portion of the performance, but the band didn't miss a lick up on stage. I got to catch the tail end of Trans Am and think they could be decent if they eased up on the robot ears requirement that comes with their vocals. Shit is going down tonight. Les Savy Fav are one of the few bands I am always willing to travel to go see. For some reason, they rarely come to Philly, so when I heard they had a show in D.C.,I was all over that. They are actually serving as the opening act tonight for Trans Am at the 9:30 Club down in Washington. Expect the unexpected with frontman Tim Harrington.
