It might not be the "best" of 2013 when all is said and done, but it's a solidly enjoyable album from start to finish, and it achieves Chaz Bundick's stated goal of releasing a pop album. Les Sins is the side-project of Chaz Bundick, a.k.a. Toro Y Moi . He takes his chillwave ambition even further here, focusing more on straight-up synth infused dance music, with a tint of soul. The new release includes the new house jams "Grind" and "Prelims" and will be released through Caribou's label, Jiaolong. Our favorite cut is "Grind", which you can stream above. It sounds so good.
