TILT instantly became a fan and great friends with Binary last year back in October. After hearing Keenhouse , Nightwaves , Short Circuit aka On Off On, (now our resident) ALFA and everyone else on the label, we knew these guys were making big moves and bigger waves in L.A.. Each artist with their own unique sound, reflecting the style of Southern California and L.A. in a way no one else before them has. Their self coined genre DREAMWAVE has caught everyone's attention with its melodic greatness, a sort of harmony blending [...]

image: flickr REPLY TO ALL SHOUT OUT BLOG MAFIA RIDE OR DIE Anyway, none of this could have been possible without our special friend, the young Jordan Elliot of The Kids Are RADIOACTIVE [TKAR]. He's part of the always lovely Binary crew in Los Angeles and one thing is for sure when it comes to Binary- nicest bunch of kids around! TKAR has a ways to go as far [...]
LexiconDon is Alex Koons, a young icon in the making. A cornerstone of the Binary Family, LexiconDon's music is fresh, uptempo pop music that is rooted firmly in electro & dance. His... **Summary** Go to website for downloads, videos & more.

MP3: LexiconDon - Hollywood Sound ( ysi )
The kids over at Binary really know what people want to hear, so it was no surprise that i fell in love with the new track they sent from LexiconDon . With some production work from LA producer Fabian , Hollywood Sound opens with a great 8-bit synth line that catches you automatically, and when the vocals come in your sold. The dirty basslines underneath the track give it that electro vibe that all the kiddies like. Excellent track overall. enjoY! LexiconDon - Hollywood Sound

Are you tired of heavy songs that aren't really songs at all? Then trust again in the Binary family of LA based dance music producers and artists! These guys are always focused on writing great songs and this one by LexiconDon is no exception. Cause Binary artists strive to bring the songs back to the dance floor! LexiconDon's "Hollywood Sound" is heavy, it'll get you sweating and moving. And it'll also keep great melodies stuck in your head and take you to Hollywood on a Friday night. What you're waiting [...]

A few months have passed since Binary artist LexiconDon has given the world a new song to enjoy. That's not to say he hasn't been in the lab, hard at work. His debut EP is on the way, and if you liked his first batch of tunes at all, you're going to absolutely love the EP. I couldn't be happier today to be the first to give the internet world their first taste of his new track 'Hollywood Sound'. This song won't end up on the EP, and its just one example of his growing collection [...]

A month ago we kicked off the summer with Keenhouse performing here in LA at the Standard rooftop pool. Champagne was popped, and Binary rejoiced at the beginning of summer in the City Of Angels. Ahhh, sunday afternoons poolside. You can't beat the people, the view, the drinks. Its summer in LA to a T. Keenhouse knocked it out of the park and now were back in July to do it all again. Its getting hotter, the sun burns a little stronger, and the beat drops a little heavier. Binary's very very stoked [...]
Check an absolutely relaxed Keenhouse in an absolutely soft checked live clip pleasing the crowd with his pipe dream "Deep In The Forest" at a Binary Party in Dragonfly, LA. Live synths, live vocals, and improvized songs. The video is pretty sick, and definitely worth checking out. Most important information for LA-readers is, that you definitely have to mark your calendar on January the 29th to step to "The Echoplex" (LA), enjoying Binary-Guys together with some French kids from Valerie . This gonna be a cabalistic party with some topclass hustlers: LexiconDon [...]

The Valerie Crew is gonna be trekking across the United States next week for a mini-tour beginning in New York and ending in San Francisco. The two stops in-between are Chicago and Los Angeles. All performances will feature top Valerie artists College and Anoraak . New Yorkers, however, are getting twice the love with Russ Chimes and Lovelock also appearing and LA is being treated with appearances from local artists Keenhouse and LexiconDon . Be sure to dress to impress! Valerie Party @ Webster [...]

My friends over at Binary have it too good over in LA. They've created a DJ collective that is scoring major points for the west coast and forcing other parts of the country to step up their own game in the party-starting industry. Next up from them is a set of tracks from LexiconDon. His name is Alex Koons, and while he's originally from Seattle, is now transplanted into LA and Binary has taken notice after he transformed his sound from hip-hop to synth-pop. Good move IMO. His vocals will remind you of a certain [...]

It seems as though it's pretty easy for anyone to make decent electro/pop music these days, but you can certainly here a difference between the real thing and the imitators. LexiconDon is one person making some real legit music. He's got the whole package. With his good voice, catchy synths, and fun lyrics it's hard not to enjoy his music. Another great member of the Binary crew, who you all know we at FS love. Check it out. LexiconDon - Nothings on the TV (Turn the Radio [...]
LexiconDon just hit me up with some sweet new (exclusive!) tracks for your ears. "LexiconDon is Alex Koons from Seattle, WA, transplanted to LA. He comes from a hip-hop background, but his recent transformation into synth pop hookmaster was too much for us to ignore. He got to LA and just flipped his whole style up. He's got plenty of that LA swagger, but his voice is straight Cure. It's pretty hard to keep these songs out of your head. Binary artists Fabian and On Off On are behind the production on his [...]
