Liars have a new video out for "WIXIW." The song comes from an album of the same name, which was out last year. It seems quite a while ago that the album was out, but we can't complain about a new Liars video.

Brooklyn-based trio Liars have unveiled the video for 'WIXIW,' which is also the title track from their 2012 album. The video below shows an indivual trying to dunk a basketball over and over again. Frontman Angus Andrew described the clip as "a beautifully shot black-and-white basketball version of Sisyphus." Yup...What he said. Check the ALEX/2TONE directed clip of 'WIXIW' below.

Liars steer away from their previous baffling endeavours , aiming instead towards a slick, stylized contrast in their new video for "WIXIW", the title track from last year's WIXIW . The black-and-white video, directed by Alex 2Tone, focuses on a committed individual and his slam dunk attempts. Frontman Angus Andrew described the clip to EW as "a beautifully shot black-and-white basketball version of Sisyphus", which makes sense when you realize that said individual never sinks a basket. Liars frontman Angus Andrew is a tall guy, and like every tall guy who's never been paid to play basketball, he probably has some history of b-ball failure. (I promise you, I know.) So maybe it's not surprising that his band's newest video, for the title track of their 2012 album WIXIW , focuses on a flowing-haired baller who tries, over and over, to dunk a basketball, while a small crowd looks on silently and a demonic witch-doctor type dances mockingly. El cambio de sonido que Liars dejó patente en su ultimo álbum sigue trayéndoles alegrías. Hoy toca vídeo para una de las canciones que más me gustaron de su octavo disco, "WIXIW". Por cierto, tendremos la oportunidad de verles en directo tanto en el Sònar como en el Primavera Sound .

The Very Best & Seye scored a documentary about street kids in Kenya, sniffing glue and trying to survive. It's called Tough Bond , and was directed by Village Beat (who also did The Very Best's Yoshua Alikuti and Kondaine videos). The film is premiering at Berlin International Film Festival next week Wednesday 13th of February 2013.
