What a sonically devastating niche Lil Silva has created for himself. No-one else sounds like what he’s currently moulding together in his studio and damn are we all for it. Sprinkles of funky house with some of the hardest percussion work I’ve heard in a while are both reasons why Lil Silva and ‘head bop’ are pretty much synonymous in my books these days.
