After a battle with lung cancer, TV On The Radio bassist Gerard Smith has passed away. This is a terrible loss for both the band and the Brooklyn music scene. So, we have gotten our mittened hands on a bunch of Joni Mitchell albums that we hadn't heard completely and we spent a whole 24 hours reading up on her, watching her interviews and listening to her sweet sweet voice. You know we like our music with a little social commentary . And, we are glad we back-catalogued Joni Mitchell, she is a fine singer-songwriter and this song from her epic album Blue showcases that.
