The values of machoism and licentiousness aren't exactly ones I esteem. I'm more one of those prudish, ever so slightly misanthropic monogamists, if I'm absolutely honest. And so the prospect of sex pop from a dangerous Yank quartet, two of whom stand about fountains shirtless with dogs and fags in decadent promotional shots, isn't immediately my thing. Though as the sordid chorus to Night Panther's Lioness dresses down to lure, there's little to stave off the irresistible seduction offensive. Andi and I went to the beach this past weekend. And now we're engaged, around five years and five days after our official first date. We're pretty excited and have been talking to all our old friends about the plans (completely unofficial at this time); most likely a June 2013 wedding. Damn. The Bimmer done broke down. Once it warms up, it refuses to hold an idle. I did some research over at BMW 2002 FAQ and found that it could be one of a number of things: a faulty ignition coil, a fuel mixture issue, the carb needs tuning, the timing is off... the list goes on. This album could be the soundtrack to a futuristic porno, Lioness' dystopian raunch sounds like it comes from another planet sometimes.
