Canadian rock band Lions In The Street went through a lot of legal hassles with their former recrod company - the notoriously combative and now-bankrupt TVT Records. They are back on track with a free download of their "Mixtape" EP called Cat Got Your Tongue . A full lengt will follow later this year. The Vancouver foursome goes south for SXSW. Drawing on influences like the Stones, Allmans Brothers and Derek and the Dominos, Vancouver's Lions in the Street know how to rock out. This weekend was an unexpectedly gorgeous Indian summer weekend in Colorado, with temps in the 70s and me completely loving the feeling of the sunshine soaking into my skin for what could be the last time in a while.
