brand new Logan Lynn video directed by Jeffrey McHale the track is taken from his 2010 LP, I Killed Tomorrow Yesterday

Italian producer Schlock! that we posted about previously here sent us news of his New EP 'Star Whores' consisting of remixes/bootlegs that he's done over the last couple of years. A mighty fine collection that shows his range. Love his style, it's subtle and beautiful electronic dance music right along the lines of the stuff we post on OTR . Think you guys are gonna dig it. Best part is all the remixes are available as Free Download's via [...]

Portland's finest indie-electronic musician, Logan Lynn , is back with a new record. I Killed Tomorrow Yesterday was produced by Bryan Cecil and is much more darker than his previous release, From Pillar to Post. That, and it sounds as if it were sent here straight from 1985. The synthpop sound suits Lynn's voice well and the subject matter which deals with alienation and disillusionment. "Velocity" could have been straight off of one of my mother's 1980s Latin freestyle records and is the album's definitive dance record; other standouts include "Tennis Whites", "Quickly As We [...]

Well today I bring you a short list of tracks but with big sounds. It has been a short weekend with a lack of submissions.Which in away it is a good thing considering my weekend has exhausted me to the fullest.I am ready to just relax.Though there isn't much time for that at least until this evening. The Lady Gaga after party was a blur.So there is not much use in what I should say on that note other then it must have been great. After all it was a blur. How was everyone's weekend?Well I am going to end it on this note.Enjoy... [...]

From start to finish, this track never lets up and just blooms with every listen. Masterfully produced and mastered by one Bryan Cecil . The production showcases the heartache and yearning for tranquility of Logan's soul. This track can be found on Logan's latest release called, " I Killed Tomorrow Yesterday ". However, there is a catch of sorts. The only way you can get a hold of "I Killed Tomorrow Yesterday" is to make a donation to Portland's Q Center . 100% of the profits go to directly to charity and NO middle men make any [...]

Depeche Mode 's Enjoy The Silence has been covered to death, but this new cover by Nada Surf is REALLY good, take my word for it. The same can be said for Logan Lynn 's Duranie take on You Were The Last High , originally by The Dandy Warhols .The remaining covers come from newcomers The Soft Pack and Kids In Glass Houses . Enjoy! Nada Surf - Enjoy The Silence (Depeche Mode cover) Logan Lynn - [...]
My friend Ben, sent me these remixes yesterday, I think they're definitely worth a listen. I...
New York based music collaborators Jean Goode and Teddy! of The Asteroid Belt are still doing their thing, this time having remixed Logan Lynn 's "Write it on My Left Arm" off of his 2009 release, From Pillar to Post . Lynn is a singer-songwriter from Portland, Oregon who delves in different genres ranging from folk to electronic. The remix is a wonderful listen; the musical growth of Jean Goode and Teddy are evident in the fluidity of the track, something that is made possible only when the instrumental arrangements are [...]

Ok, so we had too much fun over New Years and skipped hosting a hangover Rumble party in January, THE RUMBLE: PORTLAND is back for February with an incredible line-up @ Holocene tonight with three Portland based acts. JAGUAR LOVE is our featured act on this month's Rumble Tour of the West Coast parties, and from the sound of last night's action in Seattle, they ' Started A Fire '. [...]

If you are a follower of this blog you'll recognize the music of Portland's Logan Lynn . A few months back he released his great record From Pillar to Post with tons of remixes released as separate EPs and now Philly's Flufftronix has put out an awesome remix of Feed Me To The Wolves. Feed Me To The Wolves is definitely one of my favorite tracks from the record and Flufftronix manages to keep the same feeling of the original while making it into an end of night dancefloor wind down jam. [...]
Logan Lynn - Feed Me To The Wolves ( Flufftronix Remix) [ mp3 ] the Flufftronix remix of Feed Me To The Wolves is more than catchy it's ACE, just like the video make sure to jump over to their sites and send some love
40. The XX - "Crystalized"People went nuts for The XX this year. We didn't exactly, calling them, "the most tense bunch of 2009." That was back in March before NPR got wind of the record and turned them into every bourgeoisie fantasy of what indie rock could sound like in 2009. They became Interpol for the cocktail party where no one is really listening to the music. Of course, all of this is
I did this remix over the Summer for Portland singer/songwriter Logan Lynn, and the release is now impending.. check out the streaming version: Also, last month me and Dirty South Joe threw a party at Diplo 's house AKA the Mad Decent Mausoleum (with performances from Joker, L-Vis 1990, Bok Bok, Kingdom, DJ Sega, Lady Prowl, and myself) called MAD DIVISION here in Philly. Appropriately named, as it was a collab between Mad Decent and my crew, Subdivision . A fellow Subdiv founding member Rx (and killer producer, you'll [...]
