Portland's Logan Lynn , recently signed to The Dandy Warhols label, " Beat The World Records ", will be releasing his latest electronic pop record, this time with the help of Carlos Cortes and others, set for Fall of '09. We received an advance copy of the album, titled, From Pillar To Post , and I've had it on repeat ever since. Cassettes Won't Listen fans, listen up. Lynn brings a plethora of electronic instrumentation to the table, with a slightly nasal voice, which I'm not usually so fond of, but works well for the poppy [...]

logan lynn - "feed me to the wolves" (download) from Logan's bio: "If the Land of Misfit Toys elected a team of cultural ambassadors, Logan Lynn would be its poet laureate. In Portland's pulsating music scene, he occupies a singular position- an emo prophet with a penchant for electronic beats, preaching the Good Word to drug-damaged crybabies. [...]

Electro-pop musician Logan Lynn comes to us from Portland (where a surge of new acts are coming from lately) and a delightful new album for us to listen to. It's called From Pillar To Post and is coming out later this year (Fall 2009) on The Dandy Warhols' record label Beat the World. Electric beats mixed in with some hauntingly beautiful vocals. What's not to like? Burning Your Glory Feed Me To The Wolves from From Pillar to Post , available Fall 2009
I grew up with no MTV or Soul Train allowed in the house. The next door neighbor girls, with their copies of Tiger Beat magazine, were a major influence on my appreciation for Pop Culture. I used to kiss the NKOTB centerfolds in their bedrooms and its b/c of them ...
Logan Lynn is an artist out of that aural metropolis we call Portland, Oregon that has recently been signed to the Dandy Warhol's "Beat the World" label. His new album "From Pillar to Post" is an emotional journey through sprawling soundscapes of sparkling pop melodies and jagged glitchy beats. As the press release on his page says; "He Puts the "Disco" back in "Discomfort". Even though Mr. Lynn's music is just now coming to my attention, he has been at it a while. He has released 2 albums since 2000. The first was entitled "Glee" and was [...]

PORK! Oh loord it smells bad in by apartment, I tried to make some fish but it failed and now it reeks of douchebag smell. And it's annoying, I want it OFF! Fucking smell. You remember that Second Life video I was talking about that we made in school, it's actually done but we haven't put it up anywhere so.. I'll put it here on this server as soon as I get a hold of the guy who has it. I did mostly the speaking parts, which was fun, and one turned out pretty good. [...]

Just received a copy of Logan Lynn 's new full length offering called, " From Pillar to Post " (due out later this year). Logan Lynn delivers on the promise of his hit, " Feed Me To The Wolves " by creating a rich, atmospheric and electronic collection of sounds and voice. Several stand out tracks on the album include: If He Hollers - A cross breed of Depeche Mode starkness with Duran Duran production sensibilites. Easly one of the best tracks on the album! [...]

I'll admit it, I have a soft spot for indie electronica. So when Protland based artist Logan Lynn sent me a promo of his new cd, From Pillar to Post , I just had to take a listen, and what I heard was pretty good. There is a huge indie music scene in Portland and Logan Lynn has collaborated with Producer Carlos Cortes of Portland DJ collective Assemble The Empire , to create his 3rd studio Album. With a similar feel to everyone's favorite, Postal Service, he takes on a more indie [...]

Two tasters from an album you likely can't buy for six months - Logan Lynn 's From Pillar To Post was recorded at The Dandy Warhols' studio & will be released on their own Beat The World label later this year. I'm very partial to the first track here - Feed Me To The Wolves - and perhaps it's the most accessible on the album?, feeling more like a song than a remix, or clever exploration of electronic rhythms & sounds, which is an impression I got from a couple of plays of the [...]
Portland-based alternative electro pop artist Logan Lynn headed into the Odditorium labs (of Dandy Warhols fame) to pen the 13-track debut album, From Pillar To Post , which will be hitting shelves in the fall of 09. It's upbeat and anthemic, poppy, accessible, yet still forward-thinking enough to not end up in the bargain bin. Be on the lookout for sure for more about Logan Lynn and don't forget to pick up his debut when it hits. Tracklist: 01 Feed Me To The Wolves 02 Alone Together 03 If He Hollers 04 Prey [...]

Ok, this track just floored me the first time i heard it (actually, i saw it / heard it since it was a music video on LOGO). Anyway, Logan Lynn is from PORTLAND, Oregon and has a great emotronic sound to his music. This particular track is taken from his last ep titled, " Feed Me To The Wolves EP " bio from last.fm : If the Land of Misfit Toys elected a team of cultural ambassadors, Logan Lynn would be its poet laureate. In Portland's pulsating music scene, [...]
I turned on LOGO last night and I saw on NewNowNext Logan Lynn's music video for "Feed Me To The Wolves". For the first minute I was a little worried, since the beat an d vocals didn't sound that great. The last video on NewNowNext that I saw was "Faggoty Attention" by some guy. (Needless to say, not a very good song). Now that I gave this song a proper listen, it won't get out of my head. It really reminds me of Magnetic Fields, and I think the way this song is made is brilliant. Give it a listen [...]
