Next month Lone has plans of releasing his single " Airglow Fires ". Today, though, we are blessed with the B-side to its stunning A-side accomplice, "Begin To Begin". Built with lounge-worthy synthesizers that fade in and out between transitions, this song is equally as compelling as "Airglow Fires". You might as well start setting up your summer playlists now, if you haven't yet - because UK producer Lone has some sounds guaranteed to get you ready for the summertime. He's been sporadically releasing tracks over the past year, and it seems he was experimenting with new sounds. This track brings us back to the eccentric dance vibe from his last year release, Galaxy Garden , as well as his 2010 Emerald Fantasy Tracks . Matt Cutler is Lone, a Nottingham-based producer and massive Boards of Canada fan, but you wouldn't necessarily know it from the sound of some of his tracks. Lone is back thank the good Lord above, and his greeting is this eye-opening new track, Airglow Fires. Switching directions more times than a flight full of pissed-up England fans, it's got that bombastic summertime elbow throw feel to it:
Among the ranks of well-respected labels, Belgium's R&S Records couldn't be too far from the top. The renown electronic imprint dished out yet another house-laden gem today from UK producer Lone , with the seamlessly danceable 'Airglow Fires', which is available to stream below. The theme of the track cruises through for nearly five minutes, until a deceptive left turn leaves Lone trying his hand at a smoother, more lush rhythm. That portion, unfortunately, leaves the listener wanting something more. 'Airglow Fires' will be released as a single July 14th.
Following last year's excellent Galaxy Garden , Lone (aka Matt Cutler) has returned with a new single in tow. A few weeks ago we learned that UK nu-rave producer Matt Cutler, aka Lone, has been preparing a new EP to be released as a 123 on home label R&S. Although being released July 9, today he put out a stream to the first track on it, Airglow Fires, which will be followed shortly by the B side Begin to Begin.
